I had originally planned this to be a post with pics, but with the interest of just getting this up -and I am being a bit lazy I don’t feel like combing facebook for pictures right now- so that will be a separate post later on perhaps! Just realize that the last several posts I have done that were related to the trip were pretty chock full of pics- and there are not too awful many left to share I don’t think but like I say just stay tuned and I’ll try to get them up sooner than later 🙂
I had some random things that happened that were kinda odd/funny and I wanted to tell you about them! seriously they sound like BAD things but I took them to be funny and random after the fact lol So this is not a post of complaining or anything like that! Oh, and I met some nice people at a bar too ha ha.
First of all Saturday morning before we left for the trip (we left Sunday) I went to the bathroom and when I walked in,there was all this orange foam in the floor and I was like WHAAT? Turns out an old can of hair moose I had, had decided to explode! That was a hot mess! David had already mopped/cleaned everything up and he had to do it all over again!
Sunday night, I think my funny thing was we ended up making Party mix out of 2 packs of stuff out of the vending machine at the hotel and we mixed it up in the ice bucket and watched one of the twilight movies that was on t.v!
Monday-Â I started the rainy day off right- coersing my hair to work with me! I was using my new straight brush and wasn’t quite used to it just yet! I ended up burning my neck with it. Now granted I know when I burnt it, I just went ouch and we went and ate breakfast. well.. lo and behold when we came back I had this big welt and I was like OMG what did I eat that I was allergic to? and I was like OH SNAP I burnt myself FOR REAL on that brush. I was having a fit because I knew we would be having the TIGERS pics that day, but thankfully it calmed down and I concealed it!
I also kept threatening to wash my hair after the first day, but when I handed David the bag with hair stuff in it so he could wash his hair (urm head) he asked me why I brought two shampoos? I was like I didn’t.. but I did! I thought I had picked a matching set but apparently not. I know I could have went and bought more conditioner but I didn’t want to lol + in all honestly I didn’t feel like washing it, waiting for it to dry and then straightening it again. OR just dealing with the moppit look!
Also on Monday? Well it rained at TIGERS Myrtle Beach Safari! Which I kept my hair in check the entire time even so- I even used a bag for my head when we left – but…I managed to sink my shoes in this big soup hole (David did too) and well my shoes are not the kind you wear to keep your feet dry. I felt bad because we had puddles in the car and drowned feet and I had my flip flops in the trunk but David had to drive back to the hotel with wet feet. Oh and you all know how particular David is with the car and we had water running in the floor mats!
When we got back to the hotel we went to wash/dry our shoes but due to not having any laundry stuff we ended up just using the change to dry the shoes… I wasn’t really paying attention, I was actually out in the hall way and David had started the dryer- i was on the phone with my mom. Anyways, let me just say I thought I would check my shoes /davids shoes to see if they had got dry and.. THE BOTTOMS on the bottom of my shoes had pretty well started to melt off! David’s were still in tact but mine were basically ruined
I did have 2 pairs of flip flops with me but still it was pouring rain and yeah … those were my fave shoes you know?
Things pretty well flew right after the fact (snafu/panic/weeble syndrome on tuesday ) Now Wed night … David had not been hungry because he was stuffed from breakfast and our lunch at croissants but when we went to go bowling he wanted food ,and we found out I couldn’t use my credit there at the bowling alley/bar, because it wouldn’t pull up !so we just ended up bowling a few games and then we went to use it at the restaurant between the two hotels and they were closed (seasonal hours had begun)
Then I remembered this place on Twitter Backyard Sports Bar & Grill that had tweeted me Monday at some point and I had looked them up, and I was like OK they are a bar so they will def. be open we should totally go there! They have really awesome food and drink specials, and next time I am at myrtle beach I fully think i’m not going to worry about any sort of food sponsors and just go chill there!
After the fact, they recognized me when I tweeted them the next day to say I had been there and enjoyed it(so cool, i had never been recognized like that before)and invited David and I to come have some drinks on them, but of course we were already home! I was like i’ll hopefully be back, and since we enjoyed ourselves so much, even though they weren’t a sponsor I offered some shout outs and even a mention in one of my posts 🙂
Oh- and I totally friended the bartender Brandon on facebook  too. Actually he has commented on several of my beach trip posts and We message a bit on facebook and I comment and share their stuff. Oh and you all know how picky of a food person I am and how picky I especially am with my fave food wings- but they were awesome and Nichole approved 🙂
The only other random thing was on our way home we saw a tractor accident with a car in this town called polkton. Now the funniest thing was when my dad was looking at our directions for the trip he said something like 30 miles? that would put you right in polkton.. and he turns the page and says yup uh huh Polkton. So David and I were already laughing about this little bitty town anyways and then for that to happen it was just kinda odd – and no one was hurt or anything so that was good so I don’t feel so bad about laughing about it a bit!
well..that is pretty well all I can think of to say right now- but watch out for a pic post in the future!
