Well What an interesting question lol. At least it didn’t include the phrase “so, show us a picture of what you wear to bed” or even more so ” show us YOU in what you wear to bed.
Most of the time I wear a t-shirt/tank top and some undies. Sometimes I may mix it up and wear some shorts or pants depending on how I feel. Every rare moon i might wear a nightgown if I feel like it.
Most of the time it has to do with the weather, because when it is hot I don’t want anything that makes me more hot on! The less and the lighter the better. Plus, I sleep upstairs and I live in an apt. from the 70’s that has a flat roof, so heat is rising. Did I mention I live in the south? Yeah!
When it is rainy or cooler out I usually break out some pants, and preferably some of the million pairs of fuzzy fleece ones that my grandma has hoarded up for me (I have 20+ pairs if I don’t have one!) And i’ll be dogged if she didn’t just send about 5 more and a fleece robe with monkeys on them! Sheesh! LOL At least she thinks of me and i know she loves me and means well!
If I am in an extra special mood I will occasionally wear a nightgown. I wore them a lot when we first got married because I had a ton of ones that were to me. Now, not so much. I just make it special when I do 🙂
