Most of you know that I am a fairly open person and will talk about anything under the sun, including my love for EdenFantasys. However, I might be more open with talking about them, and sex toys in more of an online realm, than in real life!
I have told my mom before that I review for “Adult” sites but I tell her that I review nightgowns, massage oils and candles…that type of thing. I wouldn’t dare to bring up that I am reviewing bdsm items or even vibrators. I don’t think I would be able to tell anyone else in the family for that matter either!
I don’t think it’s really because I am embarrassed, because frankly i’m not! We are just not that type of family. However, sometimes I feel like a hypocrite because I have fueled many debates about how just because I write these types of reviews and choose to be OPEN minded about topics like sex I shouldn’t be discriminated against as a blogger by PR companies who don’t want their content mixed in with adult reviews! Maybe i’m not as open as I profess to be?
This is why other than my posts about EdenFantasys I have moved all adult reviews to my other site grits-reviews.com that way I can be more open to more advertising and such. I honestly do not like to be stereotyped as an adult blogger either. I think of myself as a general blogger who likes to blog about many different topics.
I do wish people could be more accepting of my adult content though, and I wish I wouldn’t have felt the need to move it!
I am proud to blog for EdenFantasys though! I like their stuff and i’ll be right here writing for them until …well forever!
