Hey Everyone
Well here we are at MONDAY again. Oh and a very COLD monday for us folk here in the south with the high temp of 35 degrees! I am making my famous chicken and wild rice soup tonight though- it is an instant pot recipe that I kinda adapted just like I adapt pretty much any recipe- like I hardly ever use carrots because I don’t hardly ever have them , i use thigh meat and … heres the big one- for some reason it says to discard the seasoning packet which I thought WHY? won’t that make it plain? Well I ended up trying it both ways- and believe me with the seasoning is TONS better. I love how it doesn’t hardly take 15 minutes and that is adding a bit of time to fry up my meat and bring it to pressure!
The weekend was a BLUR – I know David and I ran up to the thrift shop Saturday morning and he got 2 shirts and I got 2 purses. Then he went off to a vape shop in g-town and I came home and slept a little bit. Then we ended up going over to my moms because she found us a microwave and when she was going to bring it over we had went to eat at mcdonalds! Thankfully it worked and we have a microwave again!
Yesterday I had EVERY PLAN IN THE WORLD to either write up a lot of reviews (2-4- or at least 1) or clean up some stuff like the cabinets/closet in the hallway. But… we went to my moms for lunch and when we came back I didn’t feel so great (my female time is on the way) and so I just laid down for a little while– and ended up sleeping A LOT LONGER than I expected.
I did work on a review a little bit but I just didn’t have the writing bug so.. yeah lol. It will happen when it happens- I am not behind or anything so it is all good. I just like being ahead when I can :)I got so used to the quick turnaround with the holiday gift guide I am trying to keep it up! When you are like me and write them in batches of 2-4 at a time it doesn’t take long to knock them out
Today I have straightened up a few things in the house, shaved and washed my hair 🙂 I am hoping to be able to straighten it here in a bit if it dries! Really I guess the only thing left to do is make up the bed (sam is in it though lol) , take marley out and make my soup…so I might see about sitting here and writing a little bit 🙂
well, i’m out for now- trying to follow up on some emails and what not but today is really one of those days that nothing is really going on so..i’m gonna run for now.. more later for sure 🙂
