Hey Everyone
Well.. I am trying to hit the ground running today… even though
- I stayed up later than normal
- We have super dreary & dark weather
- I have a bit of a lingering headache/migraine (hoped i’d sleep it off, but no such luck!)
Actually for the last week and a half I have been doing extra special good with a lot of things, and been feeling really well so one day that I don’t isn’t such a big deal. Its when all the days come in a row you know? I have GOT to remember to start taking my daggone multi vitamin for real! That and drink a little bit more water, and I should be on a good path 🙂
Yesterday David had a random day off of work because he had scheduled a dr appointment with a ear nose and throat specialist that I didn’t know about till last minute .. kind of threw me off lol.. not that I had plans exactly but my mom did want to go couponing, and I could have went with her but I was like MEH i’ll go sometime on the weekend (I have $20 in CVS extra bucks expiring soon) He had to have his ears cleaned out and he’s been having a sinus infection for over a month, so they gave him some stuff for that as well. Then we had some lunch and took a nice long nap! I swear anymore, I don’t nap at all unless he is here for some reason.
Sunday I was looking around the web at Cricut’s again. I have been considering upgrading to the Air Explore 2 (possibly the maker, it just depended on pricing really) and it said that our walmart had the air explore 2 and it was the same price as the Joy and I was like RIGHT.. because I have scoured that store looking for cricuts recently and have never found one!  So I went ahead and ordered it and chose to pick it up at the store- this was at 930 in the morning…
At 730 David got an email that it was DELAYED and I was like of course, i have waited ALL DAY and they are sold out everywhere so i’m not shocked. Well… 10 minutes later he got an email that it was ready for pick up! We didn’t see that email till almost 8 though, and I didn’t know if they would let him pick it up after 8, but he went out there and got it soooo
Monday evening we went to walmart when he got off work and I took back the Joy.. which I was a little bit sad about because I kind of wish I could have kept it too. Then I did an return of the JOY stuff that I had which was 2 rolls of vinyl (pink and black) a card mat, and a set of cards. See Joy can take any of the other stuff, but the joy stuff doesn’t work for anything else. I ended up using the gift card of $22 and came home with a Vinyl sampler pack and a table to put the new one on, because I had the joy in my rolly cart, but the explore is A LOT bigger and I didn’t have anywhere. David wanted to get me a bigger table so I could work at it, but I generally have a habit of doing things in the floor so I was like don’t worry about it!
Yesterday I picked up some card stock to work on making some cards with…. I try to keep it simple and just pick up a few small things here and there.
Last week I did a super amazing deal on Laundry stuff at the family dollar- and then late last week I did the Ibotta Free Thanksgiving… I am not sure if that is still going on, but I am going to check and see and write a post about it! I did it and my mom did it…. for me it was a $3.82 money maker because I had a midweek bonus…
Speaking of coupons ….I have GOT to come up with a way to roll those extra bucks at CVS so that is something I need to work on.. Oh and of course A MENU AND GROCERY LIST.. is it really already time for that. I almost have it down to science though.. and I keep receipts so I can kind of look up the prices and do a bit of narrowing down how much we will spend as well
