Hey Everyone
Well… It is sunny out today YAY!! My only thing is I am totally about wiped out from Saturday still + David is having to go in to work at 4 a/m this week. Oh and I think my girly visitor is going to be here like… probably in the next few hours. However, I am trying to get what I can done – even though its monday ha ha. I am SO SO SO excited that next week the time will change !!
I am making white beans & cornbread for dinner so thats pretty easy- I just have to put it in the slow cooker about 1:00 or so. I probably won’t hear from David at lunch so that will be weird, but since he’s doing his job & someone elses he’ll probably be really busy +I would rather him eat instead of talk to me lol.
I’m trying to put some feelers out on reviews but haven’t got a really good response just yet. I think I might be too early. Things usually get back rolling around March or April so I will keep trying and hopefully something will pan out before too awful long. I am so used to being pitched that sometimes it is hard for me to think of things to go for on my own!
Friday I spent half the morning trying to find my keys!(I didn’t realize I actually blogged friday and wrote about this but here it is again lol)
Not the car key, because it is separate – but a while back David had lost his keys – including ones from the quarry. Anyways, we spent almost $50 replacing them all. He has more than me- and thankfully he keeps his car key separate as well! So we only have one mail box key- so he had used them Thursday evening to go check the mail and I never thought anything else about it. Well.. I went to get something out of my purse and couldn’t find them so I was in the trash, laundry,etc trying to find them and finally though well maybe he left them at the box/dropped them and maybe they had got turned in! Well, I am not sure WHICH of those is what happened but they were in the office!
Saturday we went to eat at Showmars and I had mentioned to my mom we were gonna go out there and eat and she said her and my dad were going to eat Chinese so I was like ok then. Well David and I ordered our food and were sitting at the table that I usually sit at there and we were talking and waiting for our food and I just happened to glance over and I was like is that my dad? and it was lol so David and I went and sat with them and ate so that was cool. Then we went in walmart for a few random things and then David’s mom ended up coming over which I was less than happy about for sure! After the way she acted back in the fall when she was here I really didn’t want her over but .. whatever you know?
After she left I had found out like Friday that the tanning bed was doing the unlimited year for like cheap as heck( especially when I was doing autodraft and paying like $80 a month ) and I really wanted to do it but they were only doing it until Sunday so I figured Not going to happen. Well … We worked it out where I used my birthday money/swagbucks money and put it with some of the tax refund and made it happen. The girl I normally talk to out there is named Heather but she wasn’t there so I made a new friend named Rachel!
She was really nice and got me all squared away but I was totally not happy about the lotion that I got because I kind of knew going in I wanted either Fascinate, Miss designer or Stardom. Luckily after we came home David got a little bit extra money out and said he’d see if she’d trade it for one of the ones I wanted and pay the difference if there was any. Well I just expected him to come back with a bottle of lotion – probably which ever was cheapest lol. He came back with a whole designer skin bundle with the bubble bath/shaving lotion/googles and the stardom lotion in a little tote bag!
Yesterday was weird because I had gotten a little snookered after the fact on Saturday on 7 & 7’s because I was drinking them on and off most of the day when Davids mom had came over. Well.. we ended up going to Waffle House yesterday morning at like 7 a/m lol I was so so zonked. Anyways, I had only ever ate there like on other time but I liked it so that was cool. Then I came home and slept a good while and went tanning & to get a few things at walmart.
well.. this is a ton longer than what I thought it was going to be lol. I am going to get off here and go check the towels and start a load of colors & then start the food here in a few. I also need to straighten the couch and the bed so we’ll see. I might have to take a quick power nap for a bit though 🙂 I know my mom was supposed to go get her thyroid medicine and I was going to think about going tanning if she’d run me out there but I think i’ll just wait and go with David late this evening. I will honestly be happy when I get a good color here in a week or so and don’t have to go every day if I don’t want to. The only reason when I was doing it monthly that I went every day was because it was so expensive and I was honestly used to buying minutes instead of a package so.. I like this way if I want to skip some I won’t have to feel guilty!
