Hey Everyone
Well.. I am glad the weekend is here for sure. It really has been the longest week every. I mean my dads mom passing away last friday and the car on tuesday.. It just feels like I lived a months worth of time within a matter of days! I have not actually saw the car since it happened – I mean David is gone from dawn till dusk and it was bad enough when I saw it the first few times when it happened. *sigh* I keep seeing peoples kids playing right out in the middle of the parking lot and it makes me cringe so bad! I just want to say go to the back where the grass area is or something but don’t play in the blasted road! Yes, I ‘ll eventually recover but it might be after the car gets fixed and it will still always bother me I guess!
David has to work half a day tomorrow and would you not know his family already is trying to invite themselves over. I am telling you David and I are NOT THAT INTERESTING and we don’t have much going on here at the house. we are old married boring people who like to watch tv and chill and keep to ourselves lol. We are not an entertainment destination for sure! Now I am telling you it is fine to come visit for a couple of hours but these people will stay ALL DAY . David told them he had to work till 12 and they are like oh we just come at 1 and David is like seriously? he doesn’t hardly even get a day off and works all week. His time should be his to do with what he wants …Maybe he can thwart them lol
I don’t know why I didn’t hear from David at lunch today. Usually I get a message from him but he might be out running parts or something and have a late lunch. I didn’t really know what to do for dinner so I had some crockpot meals that my mom made up and froze that she gave me so I put one in the crockpot and I hope it turns out well because one of the ones I got from before wasn’t that good. Which I just remembered I only thought I had 2 meals and I think I actually had 3 – I had forgotten about a BBQ beef one – I should have made it lol.
I actually need to take out everything in the freezer and scrape it (defrost I guess is the word I am looking for) and kind of straighten things up a bit…I know our freezer had this handy little scraper thing and we kept it and I don’t know where it ended up- I actually can’t really even remember what it looked like lol – oh well – I guess I’ll get it done sometime this weekend!
Right now I am off of here to see what I need to get done for today! I kind of like having a couple extra hours tomorrow that I normally don’t have in a way- 🙂
