Hey Everyone
Well, I am super excited because we got some SUPER awesome news late last night when I was working on some blog posts- I know I am being vague, but I will try to cover it later on when I get a few things done on here, and in the house too- I have to send David out to get some seasoning for the pot roast I am going to make for dinner here in a little bit as well! I am hoping that this spurt of good news will be the end of our little run of bad luck
My mom and Dad were going to go out of town this weekend, but because they got exposed to COVID they won’t be getting to go – We aren’t exposed because David had been out of work for a week, and even when we saw my mom and dad they hadn’t been exposed at that point so we have kind of gotten lucky. Long story short, the quarry pretty much knew that one of the guys out theres wife was testing for COVID and they told him to come to work -and an hour later she got the positive results and they sent him home- after exposing everyone you know?
You know, I am lucky to live so close to my mom and dad and have such a close relationship with them- I just don’t like when they talk about maybe moving up to VA permanently when my dad retires! I don’t know if I would be able to handle it, and I think it would be best that they just stay put! It would be a while though, because they would have to look into something like http://www.americanhomebuyer.us/ and then find a house there- they have our old house there but I think it would need serious work, and then they talk about building a tiny house too!
IF they were to move, I think that I would consider moving as well. The neat thing about being up there would be that we would be close to like the whole family. I never really thought about how odd it is that my whole family is pretty much still up there and I think it would be nice to be able to just see my grandma all the time and get to know my aunt jackie a little better because she is kind of still new to the family, and I don’t do a lot of traveling because of my anxiety.
Jackie actually inspired me to get a little creative because she has been making shirts with her cricut cutter, and she made me one that says fur mama with marley and sam’s name on it! Which totally just made me realize that it is getting to be holiday time and I need to start looking into gift options like https://teerextee.com/ for people like David and my cousin Brian!
Did I mention that David gets to go back to work tomorrow? I am super excited because we had originally thought that he wouldn’t get to go back to work until maybe Monday at the earliest- This way he can make up some hours and maybe even work Saturday. The quarry is so backwards about some things ya’ll i’m telling you. I think they could seriously use an upgrade on things and should look into something like https://millenniumgeospatial.com/ when it comes to some of their stuff.
