Hey Everyone I am still pushing through- if you couldn’t tell. I mean sure I am about to crash so I am going to have to get some more coffee stat, and there are a few things in the house I need to do – like soak my pads (ew , i know right?) and make the bed, put away clothes, put away dishes and make dinner and take out the dog- and likely things I have left out- but since the writing bug is with me I am trying to hold on to it as long as I possibly can!
My mom had ended up going up to the thrift shop this morning and had sent me a million messages before she left. She was tripping out over the Christmas cards so I just went and grabbed whatever random ones I could find in the hall closet and put my name labels on them and had her stop by and pick them up on her way home since she had hers with her and she had got stamps we went ahead and got them ready … I am like well that ruined my general favorite part of the holiday because I like to pick everyones card and listen to some music and all that but.. at least it is done lol.
That just reminded me i need to straighten up some stuff in the two closets I was in this morning- I didn’t make too bad of a mess but still…David didn’t come home for lunch so that sucked , and I Know he told me I could put the tree out on the patio this year but I don’t know if we will do that until the weekend. I know he had said DEC 01 but I thought that was the weekend and I bet he did too
I can’t believe next Friday is his works christmas party but I of course am already planning my meal NEW YORK STRIP YUM> I haven’t had a steak outs somewhere in I don’t know when So I am pretty excited about it. I know last year my mom was at my grandmas when we had the party, because of my grandmas foot and the surgery and stuff So I will be happy my mom will be there because usually we all eat at the same table and it isn’t like a work christmas party it is like us just having a fancy meal 🙂 Really though the only reason David goes is to get his bonus early but as my dad says take everything they give you and that meal is expensive so..
Well I am off for some coffee and pushing through hopefully- I would LOVE to get at least one if not two more reviews up so we’ll see how it goes.. I am pretty well winding down. I have a few things for the new year but.. the gift guide is kinda.. well we’ll see lol. I am half tempted to go nap but.. I better keep on ..
Oh and i did order my Christmas present today but I will save that for my next post 🙂
