So My Couponing Haul for this week finally happened wahoo! I had originally had this planned out with both the tide pods and gain flings ,but didn’t have a digital tide coupon on my CVS card(or any insert ones or printed ones) so I reworked it without it. I mean I only needed to spend $20 to get the $5 .. so basically I could have done tampons and the pantene and rolled my $5 extra bucks and with the coupons and CRT’s I would have paid around $1.75 and tax I believe it was..
but I’m a laundry pod/detergent hoarder so….I was def. at least going to add the gain. Plus, I only had an $8 EB and a $10 so I needed to get to one of those amounts!- I had originally went for the $8 because I knew I only needed a small more amount to hit beauty!
I was making sure this morning, super early that all my CRT’s and Such were on my card and I actually had a TIDE pod one that had showed up so I was like o.k gonna add that in.. so I did amend my deal from yesterday a little bit .. I had it as with the mask going to be around $3.63 with the added in mask that I thought was going to be $1.50 -and I had decided to roll my $10 to make it less out of pocket. Anyways.. I was thinking about $6 after tax.
So when my total came up as $6.80 I didn’t think too much of it… but when I was waiting for my mom to get out of the jewelry store when she was having her watch battery replaced..I was adding up what was on my transaction breakdown sheet and I kept coming up that pre-tax it was $4.92 and I was around $1.40 more than I had thought it would be… so I finally thought to check and sure enough.. that mask i picked up wasn’t one of the ones on sale! It is still all good though.. got 8 items for .85 each with tax- that is better than dollar tree you know?
