Hey Everyone
Well.. This Weekend.. Well.. *Zonk* It has been.. Um.. Interesting I guess is the word I am looking for!
Yesterday I knew we had to go into town and then we were going to be running around in Charlotte or whatever… Well I had saw this couch at Habitat the other day that I kind of liked so I told David lets go look at it and then if we wanted it then I could get my mom and dad to come get it and we’d get that done first … Well they still had it but when I called my mom and dad they were at least an hour out because they had went over into another town to the thrift shops and I was like o..k I guess never mind because she had a $10 off coupon with her , and then We would have had to waited for them to come get it- which I could have stayed home and waited on them to get back and then just went back and picked it up with them and then waited till David came home to switch everything out but.. it wasn’t that nice of a couch really. So we just decided to wait.
We go get our Cable box and what not. I don’t know if you all know that they decided to come wifi wire the apts and we are supposed to get this deal with the internet and cable together .. but i’ll get back into that some here in a bit.
We ended up eating at this butcher shop place that had deli sandwiches that they put in in town where we used to live and it was really good. Then we head into Charlotte which honestly I should have stayed at home because I had started having a touch of an earache but.. whatever right. So we went to this one music place we planned to go to and well.. I got a few things but I really didn’t like their attitude when I found a brand new box set of something that they had used – for HALF PRICE and they wouldn’t even try to match the deal. Then they overcharged David on something he bought (thankfully I was standing there like whoa what did we buy to add up to _____ amount)
We ended up going to the actual record store where I wanted to go all along because when we left David went the wrong way some how and we were only 10 min from it. So.. I ended up actually doing a pre-order of the new Eric Church CD and they had this thing where you get a 45 vinyl if you did that there- I figure i’d miss out on it because most places are already OUT and usually when it comes to anything thats record day or record store exclusive it goes in a hurry esp. since EC is from this area.. but I lucked out! Honestly, I don’t even know if I’ll make back down there to get the actual CD- I might end up snagging it at Walmart but at least I got the 45 lol.
We stopped back by here before David took his family back home. Well.. I Thought this was going to be just stop by and check on Mars, let her go out and take them home. Actually I wasn’t planning to go back into town with them but.. David ended up having them stay here like 3 hours + feeding them KFC and I was just like DUDE whaaat?
When he got back we watched the race and were on our way to bed. I was going on Amazon to look at something random and I get this weird activation internet notice and I was like ???
I can’t really explain to u what is going on but our internet? They had said we’d still be able to use it even though we had this community wifi thing.. well it still technically worked(s) but .. we got kicked off it basically.. and the new stuff? You have to go in manually and put in the MAC address of everything in. If you can’t find one (and we can’t get one for the polk command bar OR my printer) + we can not use our $200 router. … then you can’t use it on this internet. Oh and it is pulling about 30mbps..YEAH… Not working out well. Then David stays up half the night trying to figure that out and I’m up sick from being out all day and not getting any rest + my earache.. no fun!
Then David had to talk to like 5 people at Charter and NO ONE can figure out exactly what is going on. A lot of it comes in with where the internet was in our old address for here, and then this new stuff is the new address and.. it is just a big mess and I’m really not sure what is going on or if we can get what we had back or if we are stuck with this mess. I know FOR SURE. IF i am stuck with this we’ll def. be out of here come may because this is just pure slow trash!
David had to take something back at best buy so I went with him and on the way home we ate at Zaxbys. My ear was bothering me and it is almost like i’m running a fever so I napped a good while when we got back.. now i’ m just chilling until I can go to bed and it is only 6 lol I wanted to grab a few things at publix but I don’t think I feel like doing it today and everyone is so wore out from staying up all night so .. it will be all good if i don’t get them. Nothing that important.
Well I wanted to take a few minutes and write something… I might get spry and have a chance to write in a little while.. hopefully my ear just stops hurting though at this point!
