Hey Everyone
SO I haven’t updated in OVER A MONTH and I SUPER APOLOGIZE! I don’t have a good excuse for the majority of the time I didn’t update but I do have one for the last several days!
I have ANOTHER EYE INJURY !! Can you believe it? It started last Saturday with just a super fuzzy right eye- not the left this time.. and I honestly still question that the fuzzy issue was part of what happened later on because it never was red or super mad even! Anyways I went through this most of the day(I was thinking allergies and whatnot) and then in the middle of the night things took a HORRIBLE PAINFUL TURN and I was up crying and screaming and it was NOT PRETTY.
I didn’t really know WHAT to do and I knew the emergency room just really wasn’t an option for me in a lot of ways- so I kept thinking if I calmed down and slept i’d just sleep it off ..but I woke up a few other times and it had started to TEAR and I knew it just wasn’t going to get better on its own any time soon….
I knew that my eye dr office has an emergency on call dr but I hadn’t ever had to use that before so I didn’t even know how to access it but around 445 in the morning I decided it was time to try to figure that out!
The rest of the post is what I wrote on Facebook on Sunday morning.. I will update more later. It is SUPER better- no pain- just fuzzy thankfully.. Still have a few days of ointment and then more healing to go!
Eye trouble AGAIN. right eye this time. Had to call the emergency on call dr at 445 this morning …they called back within 5 min and met me at 530 this morning. It was stinging and felt like sandpaper was cutting me and tearing so bad.
The green dot is where they dyed my eye and the whole big dot there is an abrasion and I’m pretty much missing skin there…its gonna be ok but will take a couple days and some ointment.
Today will be the worst day and I’ll have to rest it ..keep it closed and sleep
I have a high pain threshold and never go to er and have never went anywhere like after hours so you better believe I was in pain…and still am
Super grateful to live that close to the eye dr and for them to come in on a sunday at 530 am
I will update more about everything SOON and I hope to get back into blogging soon too. this sunday the site turns 10!
