Hey Everyone
Well.. It isn’t 100% sunny but it isn’t 100% dreary today- Just a little bit of a mix and a lot of wind so far in our world! I am pretty excited though for the fact that they actually DID come and cut that tree out in front of the patio just a little bit ago. 3 dudes and a saw I was jumping up and down lol. They actually took 2 pretty huge limbs and a smaller limb out of it.. I think they might have took some out of the one beside of it , but it doesn’t really hit anything on my side of the world because it is broke up by that little weird closet that is in the middle (there are like 2-3 of them in the whole apt place and well, we got one lol. Very happy because the banging , thumping and scratching was annoying me to death + it could have been bad when the wind picks up and smacked out a window or anything you know?
I think I am going to try to go tanning when David gets here this evening -if it isn’t raining already, and if he gets here reasonably “on time” (with the quarry you just never know when that might be lol) I would have went last night but he never checked his messages before he got home so I never went ahead and got ready. Either way its o.k. because I can just try to go sometime next week and get back on a better schedule if I have to. … Sometimes I think about getting a mystic because they are included with my membership as well so.. options options 🙂
Right now i’m kinda hanging out until it is time where I can take Marley out and then i’m going to straighten my hair. I already done most of the stuff around the house , I just need to do a couple loads of laundry and what not before the storm- I already did some wed.. but you know clothes and towels have a way of multiplying!
One thing with not going tanning is it wouldn’t hurt me to shave again I guess lol. That is the never ending battle right there. Well for me , both ha ha.
David has to work tomorrow unless something changes- it’s that quarry mentality- they are like oh what storm ? hurricane you say? lol but its all good because it won’t be but half a day + overtime/time and a half so thats the “pie eating job money” lol. Oh, and David will likely have to keep check on the pumps and stuff throughout the weekend and everytime he goes to do that he gets paid for 2 hours even thought it won’t take that long so thats even better!
As long as the power stays on, we’ll be right here at home doing whatever just like normal. I am a little concerned because I heard an estimate that 75%of duke energy customers will loose power so it is a bit sketchy. I am going to work this evening on straightening things in the house, charging stuff (power banks, phones,etc), downloading books for my kindle/tablet (just in case) washing those clothes/towels and maybe running some water in jugs. I heard walmart is WIPED but that doesn’t shock me… As long as I can get a bottle of whiskey at the ABC store i’m good lol
I want to write some more but the day is getting away from me so i’m going to cut this a bit short and i’ll ramble at ya’ll some more in a little bit 🙂
