Hey Everyone!
Well I started out writing a few posts here at least 3 times but then again but then they never ended up getting completed! I will just blame this totally RIDIC time change will that work for you? I Hate it I HATE IT …and I want it to DIE already. I can’t even believe I used to favor this time over the other! I am so sick of everyone that goes Oh you get an extra hour. I am like an extra hour of what? Drag butt? because when David leaves for work it is dark and more or less like he is leaving at 4:30 a/m and then when he gets home it is like getting home after 7 p/m. Oh and it is DARK by like 5 or 530-EW!
Right now it has been dreary for a few days too boot! I mean I like it in a way because it is peaceful but .. good grief couple it with the time change and it is just ..
O.K. I will move away from the depression of the time change and weather and give you a bit of a recap of what has been going on the last couple of days. Mostly on Friday Marley and I went down to the little Halloween thing they had here at the apartments. We showed up about 5:15- it was supposed to be from 4-6 and by the time we went down there they had already cleaned up because no one had shown up! I don’t know why but nothing they do here gets a turn out. I Think we have had a wine party, a cook out and now this. I just went down there because I didn’t want to begrudge Marley a bag of doggie treats! I know that the one gal that works in the office might be why people don’t come though- she just doesn’t have a good personality and I don’t think she realizes it .. I try to be nice though!
We had some green punch, got a few glow sticks, a pumpkin and even came home with a tub of fruit on skewers! Then on Saturday I had gotten excited to go to this fall fest after church because it was supposed to be all free except for a few things. Well- I think everything there was was something you had to pay for.. I also think they had ran out of things because they had only expected 1000 people on Friday night but they had almost 4000! So that def. sucked! I stayed up most of Sat night trying to get the right time to go to sleep but never did find it.
Sunday we had planned already to go over to my moms for a while and I was actually getting some things together to take over there when David’s family started calling and inviting themselves over. David was working on trying to figure out why our furnace was rattling – anyways David told me to keep getting things ready to go because he was a bit sick of them inviting themselves over and expecting us to always be here so we quickly finished up and went on over there for dinner.
When we came back alex’s car was in the parking lot and we figured when they came back that they would stop in- however they got in the car when they came back and basically floored it out of here! I mean whatever – but still- they are the craziest people ever!
My big plan for this week is to get the actual gift guide post up and then one review -which I am already workin on just need to get it up. Other than that I am taking a chill week and I’ll get back into bursts of posts and whatnot next week…maybe 🙂
