Hey Everyone
Well- This weekend sure did go by rather fast! I had to lay out of tanning a few days because I got a bit red on Friday Evening somehow another! Thankfully I did not burn and I will be a little bit more careful- I kind of didn’t think anything about laying 8 min – which would have been fine but not in a 10 min bed with an A/C in it! That thing got down to 64 degrees and I never even realized there was a problem till almost 1130 fri evening. It is all good though – no harm no foul just used lots of aloe and it sucked the red right out! I could have likely went yesterday evening but I got on the phone with my gma and that just sucked the rest of my time 🙂
Of course I am going to my grandmas this weekend but I think we are going to go on our own and not ride with my mom and dad. I thought the whole point of this plan was so that we would come back the same day, as opposed to my mom and Dad who will likely spend the night.
Well Now David is saying we are spending the night so I have NO idea.I know that my mom and dad were likely wanting to go up earlier than us anyways so it still all works out. The only reason I am not big on spending the night is everyone goes to bed so early at my grandmas house so we have to go to the guest house and it is pretty boring up there , especially no internet and whatnot so we have to take DVD’s and the computer and try to make due..and still end up asleep early!
Thankfully I don’t have a whole heck of a lot that I need to get done this week in advance and I am just going to be mellow, grab my stuff and get things ready all on Friday and just let it be- As you may or may not know I have horrid travel anxiety and I am just going to try to not think about things till the last minute and see how that works for me. The funniest thing is after I get in the car and a little ways up the road I am totally fine.
One thing I have to say I like about traveling on our own is we don’t have to stop at my dads moms nursing home- it is like in the ghetto and David , Marley and I sat in the truck for over an hour while they visited.. we are well over half way home at that point- maybe 2 hours left and we were like really?
Well I am gonna get off of here and see what I can get into- seems like the day is already getting away from me- I need to grab some lunch and go from there!
