Hey Everyone
Well, I can’t believe that I haven’t written all week! I am pretty sure that I started a few posts and just never finished them. It has been a pretty ho hum boring week. I know that my mom had her surgery on her hand on Tuesday and thankfully that all went well. My dad stayed with her that day and Wed. I thought I might have to go over there ALL DAY yesterday but thankfully all is going well and she hasn’t really had ANY pain and she has just had swelling so thats good. She had 5 of the 9 nerves in her hand compressed I think is the word that I am looking for.
David was gone to a concert last night. See I first thought this concert was on a Friday and when I realized it was a Thursday I was like you should take Friday off because you will be late getting home .. I was thinking late as in 11 or 1130 (which is still late when you have to get up at 5 you know) anyways… I will get back to that..
He came home around 3 and brought me a KFC 2 pc meal. He left about 430 because he had to go in 5:00 traffic and what not. Anyways… Marley and I were curled up watching tv and whatever and I decided to take a shower. It was pretty and bright out. 10 minutes later I get out of the shower it was PITCH BLACK out. I mean I couldn’t see a thing- We got this crazy freaking storm- first time we had an actual storm in.. ages..
Then, my roku froze, the internet stream was down to a crawl and my echo dot decided to update and went black for like 10 minutes lol. I was like seriously? if David had been home nothing would have happened lol.
I held out till 11 and I was like screw this I’m going to bed. I had taken Mars out a bit early between some rain drops..He didn’t get home till almost 1 a/m I was like good luck with that. I will honestly be surprised if he doesn’t show up around lunch time and end up taking the rest of the day off to sleep.
I was siting here writing this – in between doing a few random things and the FREAKING POWER went out for about 5 min and I was like OMG seriously what the heck? I was sitting here trying to figure out what was up with that and it thankfully came back.
I have actually been working on this post ALL DAY and now it about 4:30 So I think I am going to just cut this post and finish up dinner. Hopefully I’ll get out tanning when David gets here- I need to make some rice for the terryaki chicken and get ready so I’ll catch ya’ll later on!
