The good ole days ,if you will!
I think it is honestly this time of the year – I mean this would have been like the back to school sort of time- oh and the fall .. and we all know – obviously- how I feel about fall (if you don’t know- well now, come on- my site has AUTUMN in its name you know? )
I don’t know if anyone knows exactly WHY I came back home from Appalachian and never finished my teaching degree so let me give you a condensed version of what happened,just because I can!
My mom has had a lot of problems with her feet over the years- due to always being ON HER FEET as being a hair stylist and all that sort of thing … she has had a few surgeries and such, and she has custom orthotics and everything. She calls them her jellies and if you don’t know what they are and you see them laying about and don’t know what they are they seem really out of place ha ha.. and she always seems to have them in the weirdest of places.
Ok so back to why I didn’t finish my teaching-she actually had a glass shelf fall on her foot while they were opening a new salon and that took her out .. .I was living off campus because I had transferred in as a sophmore/jr at that point and had to live off campus- and my moms tips were literally paying for my rent so… yes….
one thing i have missed lately is getting goodies from jackie and dennis *my aunt and uncle who do the pallet sales and they haven’t had anything “good” for me lately. I still need to go up and visit and see all the stuff they have actually, because i never have, believe it or not! I wonder if they have pallets like https://www.jecoplastics.com/ as far as the materials of the actual pallet goes? I know that having a wooden pallet is cool because you can make projects with it, but i think that plastic would be really cool too!
and as everything lately, i am wondering about things at the quarry! it is so funny because I am always saying well… you can’t tell me anything about the quarry that I haven’t heard before..which is pretty true, because in the 32 years my dad has worked there (since I was 4 years old! we moved here in 1988 from the middle of nowhere in VA- ) David has only worked there since the year after we were married but that is how all of this comes about- he comes home and i’m like OH PLEASE I have been hearing this FOREVER – some of the “characters have changed but for the most part- I Know what is going on without even being told the same things over and over 🙂
and I have to wonder if they could benefit from the things that https://leaseml.com/ offers !
