Hey Everyone
Phew FINALLY it is Friday. No, seriously I thought yesterday would never end. I had this cycle of really weird/deep thoughts and then had that crazy headache and .. yeah.. Then David and I went to walmart and trolled around for a little while because I felt like I had been stuck in the house for way too long. I ended up getting a planner (finally- since apparently I don’t qualify to review one from anywhere you can think of online because I have pitched and nothing) I Can’t keep trying to keep up with things on scraps of paper! Especially with how OCD David is with throwing away paper- if it is an important paper it has to be tacked up on a bulletin board or tucked in a notebook!
I have been using Planners since I was in 4th grade and well..with trying to keep up with things without one is driving me crazy. Kind of like not having my “office” area. If i could pick two relatively inexpensive things for my birthday it would be this thing called an instant counter , which you can put over your stove burner and use for burner covers (which i don’t have any of right now) and you can also sit like an IP on top of it and vent it through the hood vent on the stove that way you don’t risk accidentally turning your burners on and burning the bottom of it and essentially ruining it! I have been venting mine on the counter under/on top of a cabinet but it isn’t the best for the cabinet Oh well. lol.
Also you can use it to prep on and even sit it over your sink for that purpose as well. Granted I have more counterspace here than when I lived in town, with the IP, Microwave and Ninja assortment taking over I am running out of room lol.
The second thing is just a small desk and a chair that I could sit in the extra bedroom for when I really want to work and a place to keep a few things when I am working on them. Put up a big marker board and yeah.. for like under $100 for all of it I would be content! The instant counter only costs $25 and I could always use my little red rolly stool. so really i’m asking for an instant counter, a small table/desk and a marker board. 🙂
I want to go to our church cd release party tonight but it likely won’t happen because I don’t think David will have time to get home, eat and cleaned up in time unless they let him leave a bit early. Plus, only the permanent locations are having it so that kind of makes things a little more crowded. I know we will go to church tomorrow for the 10 year celebration but I wouldn’t have minded going to both…
Well I am gonna jump offline and grab something for lunch( fries? chicken salad? smoothie? I don’t know) I am making chicken and wild rice soup in my IP for dinner ( or spaghetti- i don’t know lol) and grab some coffee. I don’t really feel like being online right now so …bye for now!
