SO Yesterday when I got up an was one of my DO ALL THE THINGS early in the day sort of moods, one of the first things that I did was grab all the sheets and throw them in the wash. I never even thought about how when David puts Marley in the bed with me in the mornings he usually puts one of her toys in, and generally that is BOOP- He’s the dark little chunky monkey fellow in the pic.. The Llama is Tom and you can also see MY wolf from Great Wolf Lodge that she has ended up with. She also has a little orange camo dude and he’s mini boop (fred) and I really don’t know where he is but probably under the bed if I was going to venture a guess – Oh and yes her fancy little blanket she has there. I am almost jealous of it lol.
So Yes, I threw the sheets in the wash and went to put some fresh ones on, and about the time I was finished I asked her where boop was and we looked and looked and couldn’t find him.. and I started running to the washer because I Was like OH NO.. and yes.. he was in there. I was like well he is soaking wet and I guess he is going to have to go on. She was with me and she saw me pull him out and she gave me the most sad look ever! I felt like an awful fur mama! To protect him, I put him down in one of the pillow cases (because that is how I wash my huge strawberry shortcake that I have and she saw that too! Well.. then she pretty much stayed by the laundry room the whole time that the washer ran! Looking Sad..
Well, when it was done I got him out and he had held up – so I was happy about that. And I am not saying he couldn’t have used a bath so to speak but I just never had figured he could be washed. She was happy to see him and he still squeaked.. except he had water in his squeaker so I didn’t know how that was going to work out exactly. Oh, and I knew he couldn’t go in the dryer so thankfully I got him air dried and the squeaker doesn’t seem to have any water in it now! PHEW!
I an so glad he is well and they are reunited ๐ I did feel bad. Oh, and that look of sad ๐ I couldn’t handle!
