Hey Everyone
Phew This weekend took a turn that I really didn’t see coming lol… but in a good way thankfully! Last month when David and my Dad had their work Christmas party I talked to a guy and a girl in the parking lot because they got there early and came over to talk to us and later on I asked David “Who were they, they seemed really nice?” Because I know it wasn’t the two guys that he usually mentions (plays games with online all the time) and he told me that it was this guy Shea, and his wife (Tangela) and I was like well I liked them a lot and I actually friended her pretty much that evening on Facebook…
Anyways… about everyone I know has a birthday on January 10th- Including my Dad, Jasons dad .. a friend from college named robyn, and a distant cousin in law- and Tangela. I had saw that she was having a party on Saturday and when I came back from longhorn on Friday night I had told her I had never been to a party, had a party, etc- let alone a birthday party and she invited us and I was SO excited. As you might know David and I are boring old people at 35 and we pretty much stay at home all the time lol- we have just gotten into routines and ruts and what not!
Anyways, I was really excited that we decided to go! I ended up making two new dog fur friends- Millie & Blue- They were so well behaved and sweet- I want to try to get them a treat the next time we go visit- even though they liked me just fine without any- they actually hung out with me the entire evening – especially Millie- she was 18 years old and in EXCELLENT HEALTH. I hung out a lot of my time with Tangela’s mom … I would have tried to hang out with Tangela a bit more but since she was hosting the party and I am already kind of socially ackward, I didn’t want to bother her- It was just that we didn’t know anyone else there because no one from the quarry or anything came. I know there were only 3 guys total- Shea , David and a guy named George and they kind of hung out in the garage and I probably should have went and joined but I wasn’t really thinking. I really did have a good time though- even though I feel like I stood out like a sore thumb after Tangela’s mom left – We actually came home pretty early which was probably a good thing 🙂 I am hoping that maybe we can hang out with them on a more one on one sort of thing in the future and that way I can feel a bit more comfy-
A totally random thing is I need to remember to talk to my grandma about her insurance- I know that is a bit random but I know that David and I were talking about insurance after we had been talking to my dad when we were over at their house yesterday- I don’t have insurance and it would basically cost as much as our rent to get me any.. isn’t that crazy.. but I wanted to make sure that my Grandma has everything that she needs – she might need some of the things that they have at SpectrumHealthCare.com
