Hey Everyone
well today is already flying on by! I had figured David might be home at lunch but so far that is a NO. I am hoping though that he does get off work at normal time/early like he has been the last few days because our apartments is doing a Christmas party and well… free wine /beer/food -that technically we have paid for living here and paying rent- well i’ll be there with bells on! It is from 530-730 and David has been getting here around 530 so I hope he keeps it up so I don’t have to go by myself /wait lol.
They are supposed to give out gifts and whatnot too and NO ONE ever comes to their shin digs so .. 😉 wink wink right? I am serious- since we had these new folks we have had a cookout (the only one there were several folks at) a happy hour party , a halloween party and now this// I think I was actually the only person that showed up to the halloween one!
Friday we have Dad and David’s work Christmas party – fingers n toes crossed for a huge bonus check! I am looking forward to my steak /potatoe and salad bar for sure! My mom didn’t get to go with us last year because she was taking care of my grandma because of her foot so I am glad she will be there for sure.
Speaking of my mom she had jury duty yesterday and today- yesterday she was there about an hour or so and then today about 2hrs I am like sure- when I go it is 8 hrs for 2 days but when everyone else I Know goes- it is over and done in no time!
I don’t have big plans for today at all.. just kinda doing a little bit of this and that- i guess the biggest plan i have is straightening my hair if it ever decides to dry. I am also trying to figure out why I Had a 27 buck refund from where i Had ordered overnight shipping that didn’t come through- and it has been processed but paypal hasn’t released the money just yet. It is funny because David and I needed a few things at the store the other night and I spent exactly 27 and I was like YAY I will get all that right back and it will be like I didn’t loose any money 🙂
If the party food isn’t all that fetching I will make us a pizza when we get back up here this evening. I am supposed to be getting wings to review for saturday so.. good week for food around here for sure
