I thought on Friday when David got our AT&T internet working again It would be a good thing. I was barley back online when I found out I was probably wrong!
Apparently this site is a problem child and was totally tripping out my hostesses hosting package. 🙁 I hope we can get all of it squared away soon. I had a million emails to go through and trying to catch up on BE was overwhelming!
I finally got offline and went out to lunch and over to David’s dads for a little while. He had this cute little kitten he was watching for someone and I wish he would have kept it (they said he could) but he didn’t.
Anyways I came home to find out someone had moved some things around on my site. I have 2 friends that have access here along with my hostess but I knew the things that were out of whack weren’t something they would do. I believe I was hacked but the things that were done were so odd and random that they don’t make sense at all. I quickly did some fixing up and looking around to see if I could find anything else. I couldn’t just a plugin activated, a picture on a page that I know I didn’t have up and some rearranging of a sidebar. The funny thing is I was talking about activating that plugin again anyways so..thanks??? lol
There were a few other things that went on, online wise but I am not really going to write about them. 🙂
Saturday I was all excited because of the internet and everything. Well turns out this internet was not Wi Fi. The guy said we could use our own router and use Wi fi though, and we had one that david had gotten in case we ever got cable internet.
While we waited for them to come I wrote over 7 pages in a word document on some things I needed to get out! It was awesome! 🙂
David is pretty technological and he spend over 2 hours trying to get the wifi to work. It NEVER would. He finally just gave up and we went and bought that little kitten a toy and went over to see it, went to eat at mcdonalds and came home
Yesterday we got up EARLY and went to target to get another router because we figured it was just something whack with the cheap one we had tried the night before. We got a few things to make for meals this week, which is awesome and then we came home. Hours later we still didn’t have Wifi and David was pretty aggravated. After calling charter, and trying to call the router people we still didn’t have any answers.
I had saw a wifi hotspot thing at walmart that I thought would work, and even though I am pretty low on funds right now I thought HEY if it would work I don’t care I just want everything fixed.
David set it up, and it worked just fine (the device) but we still couldn’t get wifi! So anyways, when charter called back the lady said that since we didn’t realize there wouldn’t be wifi and that they didn’t mention it they would wave our installation fee, and the fees for coming out and getting us set up with a modem from them that does wifi! we will just be renting the modem for like $3 a month an she saved us over $100! She also emailed david the details so we have a record and she said any time we need anything we can just email her! They can’t get out here till wed. afternoon though, so that sucks!
David will work half a day and be here when they come that way we know everything is right!
Today I am catching up on a few posts and emails and honestly I am about to go nap .on and off the past week I have had a earache in both ears. It comes and goes and last night and today it has been wicked!
