One of my favorite things to review are things that are food related! Who can get enough meat, drinks or snack food you know? A while back I had the chance to review for Crunchmaster Snacks– when they were first starting out. So when i got an email about would i be interested in working with them again, I was like sure!
Crunchmaster was generous enough to send me a HUGE variety box that had nearly every goodie that they make in it! I am talking about all kinds of crackers and even chips! All of their products are healthy but taste awesome (and I have heard I am a picky eater so take my word for it)!
I figured the best way to write this review is to simply write a little blurb about each of the varieties that I received. Let me just say that overall there wasn’t any disappointment in the whole batch! Every time we tried a different snack David would be like “This is from the box of review goodies right? Where can we find some more of this? ” I can def. see us getting some more of these in the future!
First up we have the Cheezy Crisps which were ones that I had tried before. I like more of a darker tasting cheese cracker for the most part, which is so funny because I don’t even really eat cheese (except in a cheese flavor cracker, and maybe on a pizza if it is the way I like it lol). David pretty much scarfed this whole box down before I could even get a bite of them lol. Which he did the same thing the last time too, so I wasn’t surprised!
Grammy Crisps: This was another that I had originally tried before. Generally I am not a sweet snack type of gal but I do like cinnomany type of things. This is another one of those ones that David got to before me, but I did get a good sample of them to refresh my memory! They kind of remind me of cinnamon toast crunch in a way! I could seriously sit and eat the whole box by myself if I was given the chance *sigh* lol
7 Ancient Grains: I liked the idea of the “Ancient Grains” doesn’t that just sound SO very healthy and everything? My dad LOVES things like this. Honestly, I swear some of the things that he eats are close to DIRT lol. I must say though these did NOT taste like dirt on any level and the hint of sea salt really makes this cracker pop! I really liked the idea of the healthy factor on this one as well!
Multi Grain Roasted Vegatable Crackers: I hate to pick a favorite but this just might be my favorite of the ones that I got! These have tomatoe onion and pepper flavor to them and those are some of my favorite flavors and all on a healthy cracker? YUM-O! They kind of had a bit of a “spice ” to them, but they weren’t over the top or anything like that. I may or may have not ate the whole back by myself, I’ll never tell lol.
Multi Grain Sea Salt Crackers: These crackers were in the same “family” as the roasted vegetable ones. They were awesome, I love when things are flavored with sea salt vs regular salt because it is so much better for you, and in my opinion a little bit does go a long way. These crackers were a “light” as in kind of thin and really easy to eat!
Multi Seed Original Crackers: These have all kinds of awesome seeds in them like sesame, quinoa, flax and amaranth. They also have a light soy sauce flavor which is AWESOME. The soy sauce that is used doesn’t even have wheat – which of course is awesome for those folks with wheat allergies (which I do have- but it isn’t a major one).
Popped Edamame Chips- Wasabi Soy I don’t have a whole lot of experience with Wasabi, but I always heard it was REALLY spicy. When David and I were in TN I tried some sauce at a sauce store that was Wasabi based and I really liked it and didn’t think it was too horribly spicy… but I can pretty much eat fire! These were a bit more spicy than I expected but I really liked them. I just had to make sure that I had some water close by! The soy taste does break up the heat just a tiny bit as well!
Popped Edamame Chips-Sea Salt : Technically I am allergic to Edamame. I love it but I can’t eat it in large portions. These were really good just like the Wasabi Soy ones and they are an awesome texture as well. They kind of “melt” in your mouth is the best way to describe it!
As you can see out of all the varieties of the Crunchmaster snacks I tried, I can’t find one that I didn’t like! Like I say I have this rep for being a picky eater- goes back to food allergies, things I don’t eat for religous reasons and things I simply just don’t like. I am hopeful to in the future to get to try even more of the awesome goodies from crunchmaster!
