You All KNOW by now how much I love a big deal! I have always been one of those people who go out to thrift shops or yards ales and get brand name goodies and then brag myself silly about how cheap I got it for and people are always shocked and can’t believe that I get these great deals you know?I guess I just always end up being lucky. I mean it has kind of been my “thing” since I was a little girl and it has evolved from getting pretty awesome clothes, books and other misc items to even being able to say I managed to get my Wedding dress for $17 (it was on clearance at the thrift shop, fit me perfect and I wasn’t even with anyone serious yet but that thing came home with me!)
I have also lucked out with several awesome handbags and such as well. It does help we live in a semi-wealthy area with the lake and everything too! Oh and never forget, David and I did meet at the Salvation Army Family Store when we both started working there a few days apart! I don’t get to go out and about to the thrift shops nearly as much as I like- it kind of has to depend on everyones schedule- that is where doing online shopping at places like My Gift Stop comes in handy! I mean why limit yourself to deals when you are out and about when there are awesome sites out there that can help you find deals as well?

Now you know my favorite things to buy actually do happen to be handbags right? like.. i’m pretty well into the obsession point of collecting them! I have my old toy box full of purses and at least 2-3 tubs full + I think there is a banana box full too. Oh, and I have downsized at least 2 -3 tubs in the last several years so I was pretty excited for the Kate Spade selection for sure! I actually have quite a few of these purses so that is a favorite spot to window shop for myself!
Now, I don’t know that I have ever mentioned that David is a collector of watches- especially Invicta watches and you know that item that I mentioned that he bought me that I couldn’t end up wearing due to size? it was an Invicta watch that he got me that turned out to be the full diver size, and he thought it was the baby diver size (I have very little arms! lol) so see.. this could have possibly saved us from having a watch that I can’t wear if we would have gotten it from here – that way we could have sent it back!
