One thing blogging related that I probably should have done better with over the years is search engine optimization- but again I started blogging before it was a word , and then my blog is more just for fun and then other things have came along over the years so .. I really just never got into it! I know that isn’t an excuse probably for most people but for me my blog was supposed to be for fun and just more like an online journal and that sort of thing and I never even imagined that I would make money from paid articles or get things to review and even vacations and what not – I mean the first website I had was a fan page for the soap opera Another World and I just thought it was neat as heck you could get a site on a free server and whatever – never even considered having a domain or anything like that! I really don’t even know what made me decide to even ever get a domain- I just kind of always had a million different URL’s and changed every time I changed my mind! I guess one day I might want to look into something like IgniteDigital.com if I want to keep this up for another 20 years! Oh wow.. that is a long time!
Not that long ago I had written about all the random stuff my parents, and especially my dad has accumulated over the years, and I am almost positive we are talking about things like you would find on this website ! I am telling you there isn’t anything tool related, or anything that they sale at somewhere like lowes or home depot that the man doesn’t have a vast collection of! The funniest thing is he gets all these crazy random deals at lowes that I don’t even know how he gets them. .. I mean he’ll just straight up see something on clearance and ask them if they will go lower or something like that.. or he’s even been to this random part of lowes that I didn’t even know existed called the bull pen and its like this mecca of returns and items needing fixed, and it is right up his alley because he can fix pretty much anything. I mean people even sale stuff on craigslist and such that have little issues and he snags it up and fixes it and sometimes sales it , but most of the time keeps it!
He most likely even has scales on some level, but I wouldn’t really be sure of why he would have something like that, but like I am saying there is no real system to his madness or collecting as he calls it. I guess it is all “useful junk” if you get right down to it, and my mom would argue the same about her stuff too. I guess one day I’m just going to have to find out some of the things that he has and why you would use them! He might even have something that has to do with best analytical balance for all I know!
