Hey Everyone
Well, this David having to work on Saturday crap is getting old in a hurry LOL I mean sure great for the overtime money and whatever but .. the 4 a/m thing? I could live with out that! Right now it is after 12 so he essentially should be well on his way to getting home but you never know- I know that there is a wreck up north of us on the main road and well – who knows if our traffic out this way is backed up or not.. I can’t really tell- sometimes you can see back up through the woods and by urgent care but I honestly haven’t looked.
My random thoughts at 4 a/m are so eclectic. I have always sworn they would make the best blog posts- they go from super deep, old memories , and more. This morning my main concern was OH CRAP next Sunday is the family christmas thing at my grandmas. Which you know UGH TRAVEL/TRAVEL ANXIETY but then I had the realization that I picked the absolute worse week to try to go to Aldi to get the stuff to make freezer meals- because if I do it early in the week then I’ll have to do the prep through the week which is totally not my thing-it is more of a weekend thing. However, if I hold out for the weekend it would HAVE to be done saturday and i’m telling you 3+ hours of prep wiped me out last time so I wouldn’t likely be able to travel sunday. So.. I need to try to come up with the quickest easiest menu ever and make it on through until AFTER christmas… EEK????
Back to that traveling thing. I didn’t go for Thanksgiving so insert all the guilt from that but.. I have a family member with FREAKING SHINGLES and guess what? I HAVE NEVER HAD CHICKEN POX so.. I can’t be exposed to that- it is a very sketchy line there too about being scabbed over and taking meds and whatnot … so theres that added in + weather could turn out to be sketchy too so. .yeah I should have went at thanksgiving ya’ll. honestly I have always been more of the thanksgiving sort of person anyways- probably since I didn’t get to do christmas from age three until I was in 6th grade but .. Yeah… *insert dread here* See… We can’t travel with my mom and dad because well fist of all I’m not sure what schedule they are going on, but David is having to work EVERY saturday until whenever and who knows so I know they will be gone before then because my mom has to do all the prep and stuff. I’m just going to try to figure out the food for the next week and then not think of the travel thing AT ALL.
I think David is going to go to get the car serviced today so I’ll likely just be sitting right here reading and what not for the rest of the day. I started Fuller House but I try to watch that with David so that really isn’t an option unless I go backwards and re-watch the old seasons..
