Why do I blog? Well.. there are a few reasons I suppose! I started “blogging” before it was blogging of course- back when it was just I have a website/fanpage wahoo kinda deal! So I have been doing this since like 1999 or so and it has really honestly become a habit!
I know that some people probably think that I blog because of all the “Freebies” (ie reviews that I am telling you right now they aren’t freebies- it is work 🙂 ) or for paid gigs but that isn’t me- I can take it or leave it and at various times I have gave that up for a good while. Also that kind of thing isn’t steady and for me I don’t like for my blog to be all reviews and paid stuff. I like making it personal, but like I say you kind of have to know that I was around before blogging was all mainstream and about getting stuff and all that like I have mentioned before!
Also it is an outlet, I like to write, and it also helps with keeping a record of things that are going on that I can come back and remember things and all that kind of stuff at the same time. I always have a blast going back and seeing things I have written! I actually even have all of my myspace entries and livejournal entries saved on a flashdrive somewhere. You may or not know that I LOVE writing – which is apparently something that you would expect in a blogger but I used to spend lots of time writing various stories and I was in an Another world soap opera RPG one time and I sometimes write poems and such!
I am laughing because Another World is just haunting me to death the last few days! And.. it will continue to haunt me I suppose because I just got another domain- Vintage-Soap.net where I will be making a fanpage for Another World just like in the old days and I am thinking about highlighting some of the other soaps like days, sunset beach etc!
My teachers actually used to read my papers first when we had assignments in college because I always wrote about different topics than most – I usually got them back the same day too. Oh and I won’t brag but I have wrote 10 page papers the day before they were due and gotten an A lol.
Honestly I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t blog… it has just always been my “thing” 😀
