You may or may not know that as a child, because of my parents religion- We did NOT celebrate Christmas in any way what so ever. I don’t really want to get into all of that- I just kind of always thought it was funny that my parents both grew up in a traditional household that celebrated these sorts of holidays (basically the only holidays I could do were 4th of July & thanksgiving)
We also celebrated the biblical old testament holidays… anyways, like I say they grew up like the majority of people do- celebrating these types of holidays but ..anyways.. lol I could write you a whole big set of posts about that topic- but it tends to be one I just haven’t gotten around to just yet.
So.. we did NOT listen to Christmas music obviously! I mean I knew a few songs from random sources and what not but in general that was a big NO. After I was in 6th grade though we were still going to the same church but they had renounced a lot of the beliefs when it came to Christmas so we could actually start celebrating
One thing I have never really gotten into though? Christmas Music. I actually almost HATE it. I think it is because they start playing it so early on and then thats all you hear for a month. I can tolerate it and kind of like it for maybe a week before the Holiday and then after the holiday? I am over it!
