Hey Everyone
Well.. I thought I would take a minute to write before David came home- even though I am not feeling good AT ALL and I already have written today. I don’t know why I am feeling like pure ick all of a sudden but I wish it would go away! I am REALLY hot , nauseous, headache and tummy ache going on for about the last hour and it sucks! I was pretty tired because well obviously we know how I am, but I took a shower to try to wake up and even grabbed some coffee and BAM ..the bottom fell out. I am hoping it will quickly pass because I was on a roll with making the bed and washing dishes and even looking through the kitchen cabinets for more yardsale items for yardsale #2.
I have been trying to get used to my new computer! Did I write about it earlier- I can’t remember and am too lazy to look but my HP laptop is not even 2 years old and well.. HELLO issues. Now granted I didn’t really realize how SLOW it has been until I used another computer, but there has been a battery issue for several months where it will just die without warning right in the middle of doing things- it will say you have charge but you don’t.
Then it has got to where even when it is plugged in it isn’t charging so.. that kinda sucked because you have to sit with it plugged up 24/7. Then there was an issue with the middle keys where you have to thump the heck out of them to type (I am on it now actually and pretty much the whole mid-section of the keyboard is like that) + it had a little oopsie and there are some cracked pieces on the plastic… so yes it is a hot mess and it isn’t that old. It irks me to no end because I am a VERY loyal HP person- I always have been but the last 2 laptops I have had just have NOT been of the quality that I am used to.
David and I have toyed with Apple in the past. I actually really liked my iphone when I had it, and the ipad I had for a long while… We had a macbook several years ago for about 3 days that we bought brand new at best buy but I just could NOT get on board with it. David got a macbook at a used mac store last year but it was mostly for him and we really didn’t use it so much. well we even looked over the weekend for options and decided we pretty well wanted to go apple but weren’t sure what exactly we wanted to do. I have to keep one windows based computer to use as a server. we aren’t going to get rid of the laptop just quite yet- and I do have a computer stick that plugs to the tv so..
I always said I wanted a desktop – like a huge honking screen iMac but David is really into laptops and wanted a MacBook Pro so.. decisions decisions right?
David went to the used Mac place on Monday after work and he wasn’t impressed so much. Then yesterday evening he was late getting home from work. I had this FEELING he was off buying a computer and I was right! but… he bought both computers!
this one is mine! and I am trying to get used to it the best I can lol. I always said I’d covert for one of these so we’ll see how it goes! I have this little desk set up right here in front of the freezer between the wine fridge and the freezer- I can look out the window kinda sorta but I am short and the screen is big so.. ha ha. I will let you all know how it goes. I am hoping that it will help inspire me a little bit for sure!
well.. I am gonna get off here and see if I can’t manage to feel a little bit better before David gets home. I kinda had hoped to get out and at least go to Walmart but probably not at this point. I think some light dinner and then cuddling in the bed watching tv might be better 🙂
