Hey Everyone
Well, I thought I would take a few minutes and write while I had a chance! The car was actually ready as of yesterday but the insurance people haven’t approved the new amount of the cost of everything. We were originally at $6500 and it went up to about $7100 so they can’t release it to us, until the amount is approved. I am SO happy that we will be able to get it back and it didn’t get totaled!.So maybe we can get it this evening? Not really sure..It would be kind of funny if we got it today because lo and behold- we bought the car 3 years ago today! For some reason David wants me to go with him when he picks it up so I’ll just take Mars out around 5:30 or so and be ready – just in case…
You know I still think it is crazy the luck we have had with this car or cars in general even. … something always crazy going on. You know my first car was the 86 toyota camry which my dad got … are you ready for it… the junk yard! We have actually gotten a few cars from the junkyard over the years.. we have even sent a few to the junk yard because they were the ones that we bought to use as parts and such … I think the last time I heard anything about my white car- because something went totally crazy with it and it broke my heart but some guy wanted to buy it (even though he knew it was something crazy) I think he actually ended up selling it to a junk yard near by that buys cars for cash!
Of course nothing quite beats being on the way back from my great grandmas funeral and having the car over heat and crack the head gasket… we were flat out in the middle of the trip- no real reason to drive it back to my grandmas, trying to get home.. having to stop and put water in it and cool it and such every few minutes. Thankfully, we didn’t have Marley then but I am telling you when someone dies in the family .. I tend to always having some underlying drama happen (like my grandpa dies and I’m having a chemical eye burn? )..
then you have this red car- we had old cars and parked in town on the street for more years than I can mention. We get something brand new and have it in a parking lot and 3 months later it gets hit and run.. and now this.. *sigh* lol
I absolutely have NO IDEA what to do for dinner. There are some random tv meals and some burittos and with not knowing if we are going to be gone to get the car I think they should be enough lol. I might fry some HB and then all i’d have to do is make some rice and green beans- I love that meal. I know it sounds plain but it is actually one of my fave things ever lol… Anyways, I might go ahead and fry that meat and then if we don’t have it today we can have it tomorrow. … Bleh I so seriously hope my mom and I can do that salad thing next week. If not i’m going to set out on my own and try. I have faith in me. A little bit anyways lol. It was just such a easy few days when I did them before… I’d like to add in some fruit .. I already have a list made so i’m kind of just playing it by ear… I know she is done with her honey but who knows with berries. /….
I am spending the day cuddled up with fur babes watching tv & reading.. yes… READING .. 🙂 I haven’t made a whole lot of progress on the amount of books I have read towards my goal ( I am SO FREAKING BEHIND) but the books I have been reading are like 400-600 pages each so .. I need to find some shorter books lol. I need to clean out the fridge a little bit and possibly put away some dishes /make the bed but i’m glad to have not a whole lot that has to be done..
I had hoped maybe David would have heard about the car with it being lunch time and then he could somehow get a message to me about what is going on, but that was kind of a pipe dream…I still don’t know Jack crap about the title /tag thing for the truck. I did call last thursday but really didn’t get any info.. just kind of got things broke down so I knew exactly what they were doing. It does suck that they can’t somehow get us a 30 day tag b/c we really can;t go anywhere in it and then i’m so paranoid someones gonna go tattle tell the office about it not having one- which really they can’t do anything about it after I go tell them the whole speel but still..
Also, they don’t want me to start about how some people have 5 cars /4 cars and we are supposed to only have 2.. or how the one car out there has not moved in 6 months.. I don’t know if I wrote it but some nosey bitch was out there taking pics of our rental car the other day and i’m like wtf? I mean we have NJ plates but let me tell you on this side of the apt place hardly no one has a nc tag.. we have colorado , virginia, indianna and maryland .. so I still don’t know what was up with that!
Anyways, I’m off to read and what not so i’ll catch ya later
