Hey Everyone
Well.. The theme is coming along! I bought it late Friday evening and worked on it a bit that evening and then some Saturday evening. I am not through with everything but at least it is coming along 🙂 If for some reason it looks weird to you (mostly the header image) you may want to clear your cache/history/cookies and it should show up right for you! I am going to put a note up top and pin it that way everyone is sure to see it. Mobile view should be a better experience as well because I deactivated the old plugin that had everything looking kinda whacky- because this theme was mobile responsive. I will likely just do a pinned post with progress and notes so look for it!
In general though- I am very happy with the way things are turning out with it! I hate that I didn’t get more done with it over the weekend but it just ends up giving me something to do in the day to pass time through the week so it is all good 🙂 there are lots of things I want to tweak and try out and I want to start working for my Holiday Gift Guide- even though I am not really sure about it just yet because I keep getting all the NO’s and put on elusive lists- or just not getting answers in general but I am gonna keep on keepin’ on 🙂 I am really feeling inspired with the new look and everything for sure so I think I made a good choice 🙂
The weekend sure went fast. I know Friday evening David wanted to do that 1 2 3 night and we didn’t end up doing it obviously- I think he actually went over to H and went to gamestop or something that evening and I stayed at home and bought the theme. Then Saturday we went and ate at buffalo wild wings and watched the race that evening and I played with the theme some- and David helped me with that too believe it or not. Yesterday he did his car washing ritual and then we ran by walmart for a few things and more race watching! I went to bed way too late Saturday night and I am still paying for that today it seems!
This week is supposed to get gradually hotter and it is supposed to be scorching by like thursday 🙁 I will be looking for some crockpot/pressure cooker meals for sure for these coming days!
Well.. I don’t have as much to ramble about as I thought I did when I first started this post- that and the fact that it is Monday and of course I have all kindsa random things to get done so I am gonna get off of the computer for a while – hopefully you’ll see some more from me today – and maybe some progress on my sidebar/footers 🙂
