A Few posts ago I am pretty sure that I mentioned that David’s grandpa died a couple weeks back- he had been in the nursing home a pretty good while- I think that basically what happened was that he had broken something when he fell a few years ago and they put him in the nursing home and he never wanted to actually do the therapy and get better- which I think is totally crazy but these things happen- I know that if that had been my grandpa my mom and my grandma and everyone would have made sure that he would have done what he needed to do to make it better and not be in there like that – but some folks don’t have that sort of support and motivation and everything!
At one point David actually had his grandpas old truck. This was in around 2009 and we were staying with my mom and dad. I can’t exactly remember the specifics (which is crazy – because people swear I remember stuff from the womb ha ha!) I don’t think there were any REAL issues at the time , but for some reason I know he ended up selling it at some point. Honestly, It wasn’t something we really needed at the time, and on that same note it was at my mom and dads and it wasn’t like we HAD to get rid of it… I know that my dad was looking into getting him something like what you find on wolverineengines.com because he had found a deal on something. I know that now it is bugging him that he got rid of that truck more than ever -who knows it might pop back up – you never know!
That all kind of ties in with where I think that my parents could seriously use a garage- I mean seriously, they have 3 vehicles, including the enchanting “new” truck that we call baby grand. Baby grand is a replacement of sorts for the truck that they wrecked last year. I didn’t really write a lot about that- and I did mean to but that was a hard pill to swallow in all honesty! Basically they were in a high speed wreck where a tire blew on the interstate and ended up flipping- it was seriously so crazy – I really do want to talk about it at some point on here- maybe on a podcast sort of nature…
Anyways, Baby grand is this decked out truck of sorts they found. She is HOT for a truck and this is me talking ha ha- she actually has hips- and a dvd player and all this stuff- which is totally not my dad but it was honestly so meant to be..
So yes, i do think they need a garage like something you would find from Canadian Doors because they so BABY that truck- oh and ok the rest of the crew – I don’t even think she has been to my grandmas (5 hr trip- 400 miles or so if I’m not mistaken ) more than two or 3 times at this point.
I just want all of the vehicles to have protection of any kind that they might need to have!
