Hey Everyone
Well I was wrong about the weather. We got Snow and of course everyone has lost their ever loving minds! I had thought we wouldn’t even get the trace amount of snow but we got several inches and David ended up getting sent home about 10 yesterday morning which SUCKED because that didn’t even hardly give him enough to be considered a half day! He is already a day down for other reasons – which as long as we would only be one day down it wouldn’t be a big deal but.. two or more its pretty bad!
Anyways they had said that he could go in at 11 today and then there was some confusion about that and well thankfully they still let him and my dad both go in at 11 so ..we’ll see how long they stay! I am hopeful till 4 or 5 or maybe 6 or so! It wouldn’t be so stinkin bad if it wasn’t rent check + our rent goes up as of Feb! We might just have to be 2 days late on the rent and pay a late fee. Which we have lived here FOUR years and never been late so .. just one time I guess wouldn’t hurt!
Which I had planned to get to ride up with my mom and dad to go to my grandmas this weekend (and David & Mars) but Now.. it is kinda just up in the air. David *might* be able to work on Saturday and make up his time .. but the quarry is weird about stuff like that sometimes so I might not know until last minute. I am actually going to just pack up my random stuff that I would need for overnight/travel and just be ready just in case 🙂 As much as I want to go I know making up the time would be better. I know I could just go and he could stay but I don’t like doing it that way. I’m actually going to make a list of what I want to put in a bag and get it together here in a bit
Either way things will work out 🙂 They always do! I have some money saved back that was for a major grocery haul , and a few things up in the air so.. we aren’t down and out by any means- things might just end up being a bit more tighter than normal tight for rent check or like I say we might pay late one time! Shoot I don’t even think we ever paid rent in town late and we lived there about 7 years so.. yeah sometimes stuff just happens you can’t control. I know David let his Vacation days go too early on seeing as how they wont reset till June but.. lol We aren’t starving and we aren’t cold and its gonna be o.k!
I am trying to do several random things in the house but there wasn’t too awful much to do really.. I still need to straighten up the couch but Sam is sleeping on it, and I need to maybe put up the clothes (but that doesn’t have to be done you know?) Other than that i’m pretty free to do whatever my little hear desires 🙂 I know I am making Brocoli /Fry Bake for dinner (seriously take some fries, cream of chicken soup and some brocolli and bake it- ) so I always feel better when I know early on what i’m doing dinner wise.
Right now I’m gonna get off here and make my list of trip stuff (I really can’t judge if we will get to go or not but i’d rather be ready) I don’t really have to take anything but stuff to entertain me in the car and some extra clothes so it isn’t too stressful (plus marleys bed, a blanket and some water /food/ bowl for car)Â then i’ll throw it all together this evening or tomorrow sometime ) I would also like to find something to snack on and maybe get some coffee! I am just hoping that he gets a full day tomorrow at work above everything else!
