I had already done my CVS deals for this week, however I still wanted to work out a P&G deal so.. I was actually working on an vitamin deal for REGULAR sundown vitamins when this one popped up on my radar
The Sundown Organics Vitamins are generally $19.99 and they are on sale for $9.99 with your CVS Extracare card
(They were NOT marked at my store… and they were way down the shelf… whatever was on sale that was above them, the sales card had them totally obscured from view or I would have gotten a pic of the shelf to at least show the variety and that they weren’t tagged, lol)
In The 9/22 retail me not insert there were coupons for $10 off on the Sundown Organics Vitamins(They expire on the 5th!) … At my store they adjusted down the coupon price to $9.99 and they were totally free. I know some folks are having issues with stores saying that the coupon exceeds the value of the item but it is in their coupon policy that they will adjust it down -so if you are having issues you might want to have a copy of that with you OR pull it up on your phone if need be.
Thankfully mine actually went through- and this was with a cashier that in the past has had an attitude with me (she was super cool at first, then we had about 2 times she acted like she wanted to knock me into next week, but ever since things have gotten smoother and smoother ) Also, at a store that I typically have had problems at in general! I did originally try to go through the Pharmacy check out but they couldn’t figure out how to adjust it or so they said. It originally had came up back there as .70 which was tax (which I was expecting it to be .01 so I was like Meh, but still gonna go with it)About the time I handed her the .70 it bonked the coupon out! So I headed to the front at that point!
(My Dad’s Name is Kermit, like the FROG- So of course I Have sticky notes with Frogs on them… also, people do generally call him Frog, especially at work.. so it has earned David a nickname of Tadpole.. So even more appropriate for me to have these right. Oh , and some guy started working out there and heard David was called Tadpole and looks at David and asked him You like to swim? lol- it was totally over his head about the origins of that nickname)
I was also going to go through self checkout to try it out but.. lo and behold I had $4 in extrabucks that tried to come off lol- That is a note to keep in mind with self check out- anything digital as far as CRT’s Coupons and even extrabucks will come off whether or not you wanted them to or not.
Anyways, We got it to work and these coupons are worded as “One per purchase, per customer” which was honestly a bit confusing. I understand the PER PURCHASE part because any item you are buying is a purchase.. and then all the items together is the TRANSACTION… So the added part about per customer.. I just am not sure! My mom ended up doing the deal and so did David- so just to keep it from being any sort of issue…. we are each a customer you know? I’m not trying to do anything fraudulent or glittering or anything crazy.!
If you don’t know last week there was a huge glittering issue with the Natures Bounty Beauty Vitamins $10 coupon- Glittering is when you use a coupon for something that it wasn’t intended to be used on (size, product, variety, etc) People were using them on the regular natures bounty hair skin and nails vitamins- which were on sale for BOGO- so with that $10 coupon they were getting 2 at a time for FREE… I know there were newbies out there who didn’t even know or that there were people out there in general that didn’t know – and it isn’t like the coupon police are gonna hunt you down or anything but.. it is just a good idea to be sure you are using coupons correctly! I mean if you DO NOT KNOW that is one thing, but if you DO.. then that is quite another!
The Natures Bounty Beauty still were a GREAT deal though- they are normally $19.99 as well and with the sale they were $4.99. I had a couple vitamin CRT’s as well as my mom so I know I did them about 3 times- and I did do the Hair Skin and Nails with the $1 coupon (You can use one on each even though they were BOGO) I Think my natures beauty ones were around $2.99 and the HSN ones were $1.59(for 2) so either way there were some great deals there. I think my mom had the better vitamin CRT’s and we got 2 of the beauty ones for $1.99 and .99 🙂
These were on 3 separate days- I’m honestly not sure how the coupons on those read – I had made a mistake and LEFT my original Natures Bounty Beauty ones there on Sunday night(see what happens when you wait till 8 to go couponing + I was with David lol) and so when I went to pick them back up my mom did the deal.. then when we went to coupon on Thursday (we made an extra trip because my mom had gotten a migraine right in the middle of us couponing 🙁 ) she did the deal again and I did the HSN ones.
So, over all there are some super awesome deals on Vitamins going on last week, and this week- So if you have the coupons you might want to go check them out- Even more so if you have CRT’s as well!
