Hey Everyone
Well.. Phew! I got up pretty early this morning- I mean I am generally 9 a/m but I think it was around 8 anyways.. David and I changed sheets on the bed and started washing the comforter to the bed and we had plans to like clean the heck out of this house today … We were trying to figure out what we were going to eat today and all of that. I mean we were really just getting started when David found out his brother had been in a wreck! He Didn’t have any details except that he was in the hospital and he had to go. Oh, and that my bro in laws car is totaled.
Turns out he hydroplaned and then hit a tree. I don’t know ANYTHING else other than that just yet! I mean at least he isn’t hurt badly, no one else is either and all that kind of thing you know?I have tried to do a few things around the house- straightened the couch, took Marley out, got the dishes going .. my biggest thing is trying to get the comforter for the bed dry. I keep accidentally hitting Sensor dry instead of timed dry I think lol.
I want to read a little bit, but I know that I need to get up and get something started I suppose. I don’t know when David will be home. I haven’t heard from him in almost an hour or so.
Thankfully, my header issue is fixed thanks to a online friend Becky! She actually made it stretch which is what I ALWAYS had envisioned when I bought the theme. I think it looks 900% better – I mean centered was o.k. but it still just looked ackward to me with those white edges. This way it seems like it blends into the body better?
I am supposed to be getting a Publix gift card in the mail. I had 3 online order snafus so they agreed to send me one. I hope it is more than $10 though lol. I need to go check to see if it came or not. David and I Had originally talked about getting some steaks to make so that would help out with that !
I hadn’t planned to blog today, but I really am lazy about getting started in the house since I don’t have anyone here to help keep me entertained lol.
I’ll try to ramble at ya’ll later. I know my mom is having a cook out at her house on Monday so I’m looking forward to that. I also MIGHT take us to brunch and be fancy tomorrow! If we go after 12 or so it seems like we aren’t really hungry for the rest of the day *(prime rib and fried chicken is filling lol)
