A Little Background, Of Course!
Many of you have noticed that I have spent quite a bit of time at the pool here at the apartments this summer, I loved going up there in the evenings about 830 because it was kind of dead and I didn’t have to worry about getting splashed and all of that kind of thing. You also be aware that I have been participating in the carowinds caro blogger program (and I am hoping that I get asked back next go around!)
What is one of my biggest pet peeve that the both of these two places has in common? A Place to put your stuff!!! I mean sure here at the apartment place I could just roll up there with only my keys or whatever but I generally like to tote a little more than that like my ipod and what not…and sometimes when I go there are other folks there and you don’t really want them messing about your stuff! Sometimes I am toting not only my keys and ipod but my kindle and of course I am using headphones and sometimes my phone ..and well you get the picture.
When we go to carowinds it is a literal mess trying to decide what you want to take in with you and what you leave in the car and schlep back for later. Sure you can rent a locker there at the waterpark but it is CRAZY expensive and I don’t like shelling out that kind of money for a place to stash your stuff – I mean sure I got my passes in exchange for the program but I don’t even buy food while I am there or a drink! My mom makes us chicken salad sandwiches and we have the refillable cup they have. If we do happen to buy food we share a panda express meal between the two of us! I am cheap, I can’t help it
Introducing My New Friend- The Aquavault!
This is where when I had the chance to review for The Aquavault , I JUMPED on it. Now granted I don’t know if I will be part of caro bloggers next year but there is the pool here , and sometimes we have went to Wilderness at the smokies and the like and I know that along the way it will come in tons of handy for me. This review is for the original Aquavault but they are coming out with a new version within the next few weeks and I will be getting it to review as well and I will be doing a comparison post. I will be sure to link between the too when this happens!
The Aquavault was featured on Shark Tank- I really have an affinity for Shark tank goodies and the like because there are some very unique and innovative items that come up on that show! Anyways – I can remember when I saw it on there originally and I was like well that is quite nifty! The video clip is on their official site if you want to watch it for yourself: The Aquavault On Shark Tank video clip
The Concept is simple
Obviously the concept is you want a place to store your goodies when you are somewhere like the pool or whatnot ( you can even use it on golf carts and strollers) and you want to make sure it is safe and secure and all of that. I know at first I was like well what would prevent someone from just taking it and leaving with it and busting it open? I didn’t realize that to take it they would have to literally pick up like a pool chair or whatever ,so that would be pretty unlikely!!
What is in the Box?
Of course your aquavault is in the box, but there are few other things such as a piece of paper with the operation instructions and there is a paper where you can register your lock code as well. Oh and there is this little lever key and the paper with the info about registering the lock code has more details on that- a special note my husband said I should mention is you might want to be sure to keep up with your lever key because it will help you in resetting your code if you ever need to!
How to work your Aquavault
I will start by telling you , it is “So simple, Nichole can do it”There are operating instructions are right inside the lid for a quick reference, just in case you loose that paper I mention above just in case you are finding this and have lost all signs of your instructions, I will walk you through it 🙂
1.You use the numbers section and set it to 000 because that is the default code
2. you turn the knob to the unlock position (Counterclockwise)
3. Move the lever over and to Position B (I will try my hardest to put up the actual diagram or a link to it before all is said and done!)
4. Set your Code/and Register it on the site if you want
5. Put the lever back to position A
6 Put in your loot and close the unit
7. turn the knob clockwise to lock
8. scramble your code – because I didn’t think about that but yup makes since 🙂
In Closing
I think that the aquavault is a great idea and concept, and I am looking forward to using it in the future for sure! I am also looking forward to bringing you a comparison post and what not on the newer version of the aquavault later on! If you are looking for a way to keep your goods safe when you are out and about and don’t have time to worry about watching stuff or having to have someone sit with it OR rent an expensive locker somewhere! I always love when someone finds a practical solution for a problem!
