One thing I haven’t really ever had one of – believe it or not- is a BELT. I was always stick thin and it was really easy to find little tiny pants to wear and as far as a belt went I mean sure it would have been something cute to have, but it just wasn’t something I ever had- not that I really know why. I know there is a really cute pic of me with my great grandpa at some point with mickey mouse suspenders but.. yeah 🙂
As I have gotten older and a bit bigger.. clothes really have became a pain in my tushie because most of the time I can’t find anything that fits anymore- and you would think that the majority of the problem would be that things are too tight, but just the same the low rise pants and trying to find right sizes end up being equally annoying with needing to be held up! Go figure!
So when I got contacted to review a belt by C4 Belts, I was like YES PLEASE send one right away! They had so many to choose from it took me forever to decide which one that I wanted- I actually narrowed it down to 3, but one was breast cancer awareness, and for obvious reasons they couldn’t send me that one as a “freebie” so I chose a plaid one in pink and mint- because well when I think of something being “me” I generally think pink, green and even plaid (I have had a plaid pink netbook and a house key that was pink plaid before!)
For the sake of this review I decided to use the image that they had on their site of the belt, because it is more readily available to me because I wasn’t having a lot of good luck with getting an decent pic! However there will be one on instagram in the future so just watch for it (hopefully 🙂 )
So what and who exactly are c4 belts? C4 belts stands for choose your color and choose your cause! Â You get to choose the color of not only your belt from a ton of cute options, but you can choose what color buckle that you want as well. Oh, and you can see what everything looks like in real time too. The only thing I have to say about the one i got is the green is a bit more to the mint/light side than I had thought it would be, but that is not a problem or a huge issue for me.
Now what is this about choosing a cause you ask? basically you can choose where 10%of your purchase gets donated to from: boys and girls club, Human Rights club, Best Friends Animal society or the National breast cancers foundation! I am really enjoying my belt, and I love all of the awesome perks, the color, and the fact that it fit me from the get go- i have tried on other belts in the past and been like REALLY? I don’t think they make one that fits me, but with this one it kind of reminds me of when my daddy has to help cut the bands on my watches to fit me because I have tiny wrists 🙂
