Who likes hand sanitizer? raise your hands? I am sure most you would raise your hands if I was in the room with a group of people, and that question got asked! I LOVE hand sanitizer myself, ever since it first came out. I have little bottles all around my house, in my purse, and even in my bookbag when I used to go to school. I think there might even be a bottle stashed in my car somewhere another. I know that my ex-boyfriend jason used to keep that HUGE HUGE bottle you can by at walmart in his truck when we were dating.
One reason I really like hand sanitizer , which is obvious, is the convenience factor. I mean it’s not like you can carry a sink and soap and water in your purse lol. In other words, hand sanitizer makes it easier to clean up your hands anytime they feel yucky or unclean to you!
I recently had the chance to try out Prefense Hand Sanitizer and well, of course I was excited. Why would I be excited ? hand sanitizer is hand sanitizer right? wrong!!! Prefense hand sanitizer is different! The neat thing is? they are different in many different ways.. first of all there is the big difference which is that they are alcohol free! It is made out of silica (which those with silica allergies should be aware of!) Silica, if your not allergic to it, will keep your hands from drying out like they would with regular alcohol based hand sanitizer…and even make your hands feel softer.
some other differences? Well let me list the ways! it can last up to 24hrs..or 10 handwashings whichever one would come first for you. it is safe if you were to have a little kid that somehow managed to swallow some of it,and it even protects against a ton of germs and things that other hand sanitizers don’t such as: staph, strep, E.coli, drug resistant MRSA strains! (And more!).
I received the 1.5 oz bottle to review, and I LOVE it. I know 1.5 oz might not sound like a lot but.. it is! With how powerful this hand sanitizer is, if you only used it 1x a day it could essentially last you for 120 applications which would be..around 4 months. And for my budget conscious people at that rate it is 8 cent an application vs $1.20 on the other kinds!
