If you have read my blog at any point in time, for any length of time – or even if you are just passing through- I am sure you probably get a vibe from me that I am a full on girly-girl type of girl! I can remember always being this way when I was a little girl, even though I can also remember playing with my tonka dump truck (it was metal) but I can also remember my pretend make up sets and even those lip glosses from avon back in the day called kool kisses or something like that. I even wanted my hair in curlers – and I have naturally curly hair 🙂
So when something girly-girl like hair goodies or make up come up for me to be able to review , it doesn’t take very much arm pulling for me to be like sure send them right over! I recently got lucky and got in touch with Christie Brinkley Authentic Beauty Cosmetics and I was really excited when they sent over a package of goodies for me to feature here on the blog!
I was lucky enough to receive 6 different items from the collection. Of course, when I get multiple items I tend to just run down the list and tell you about each individual item and the sum it up, because that seems to work the best for me!
First up:
Prime Time Day To Night Nudes Eye Shadow Palette: This is available in 2 different options- Golden Brown Nudes & Cool Rose nudes. I am sure you probably gather – even if this is your first time on the blog- that I am a huge pink person. That is why I am so happy that I recieved the Cool Rose nudes one! The colors on this one start out at a light shade called Dawn, then progress as follows: Ascend (a light pink) Simmer (a little bit darker of a pink) Afterglow, (kind of a hard one to describe -red/purple?) and a After dark (which is very dark- I can’t give a better description) I loved the colors, and that it even came with a nice brush!
Next up:
STROBE SHOW NATURAL GLOW Stick Highlighter
This one comes in 2 different shades- pinked, and champagne glow. with my tanning that I have going on right now (and I still have 9 months left on my 1 year package) I was happy to get the champagne glow version of this one. I am a fan of glitter- but sometimes you want something without glitter – even when you are such a huge fan- this is where this can come in handy for you! It is more subtle, and glitter free! It also blends a bit more easier because it melts into your skin on contact, and you don’t need a brush or anything either!
Then We have:
IN A BLINK Instant Volumizing Mascara
This available in one color : BLACK!! There isn’t too awful much I can say about Mascara- because it is mascara 🙂 however, this one is Peptide-powered and Panthenol-enriched formula and it doesn’t tend to flake like some mascara’s that I have used in the past. Even though I have really long eye lashes naturally I have always liked to wear Mascara to detour myself from messing with my eyes when I have eye fatigue or allergy eyes!
The next item
LIP BEAUTIFULLY Moisture-Rich Lipstick– This is available in 3 different colors, Bliss, Charm and Stunner. I received stunner which is a red color- I am more of a pink person so Charm would have been more for me, but sometimes I do like to be adventurous Actually It isn’t really a red so much- maybe more like a pink red? ! Some highlights are: Ultra creamy texture, non-feathering Creates illusion of a full lip Hydrates lips keeping them supple and soft.

CHEEK CHIC Color and Contour Powder Blush
This comes in 2 colors Thrill & Posh- I received the posh color which is a pale-medium sort of pink. Some of the highlights are: Soft-focus optical blurring imparts a smooth finish and helps minimize the appearance of pores Instantly creates healthy-looking color, adding depth, creating dimension and accentuating cheeks’ natural contour Antioxidant Vitamins C & E. I am not a big blush sort of person so I don’t really have a huge opinion on this one!
Last, but not least:
SUN-KISSED BLISS Sheer Powder Bronzer
This one only comes in one color, Burnished Bronze .. I am a huge bronzer fan especially with tanning and I have quite the collection! Right now even with 3 months in on tanning I’m not very dark- I haven’t done any of the Mystic tans or anything + I have missed quite a few days so right now this one is still a little dark for me, but I am looking forward to using it in the future! I am very happy to have some more make up in my collection! I had cleaned out almost all of my make up and was kind of not even collecting or using anymore, and then all of a sudden I started getting it to review and really awesome couponing deals! So, I am very happy with my Christie Brinkley Authentic Beauty cosmetics and I look forward to using them more in the future!
