I know first hand what can happen to your computer when it gets a nasty virus. Not because of anything I personally did wrong, but because of my brother in law(o.k. a little my fault I should have had better anti-virus!) He was at our house one night and clicked on something that looked like windows built in anti virus (on XP). The next morning I woke up and was like omg what the heck? I barely got that computer salvaged…and had to get a brand new one in the long run!
I recently got the chance to reviewfrom Kaspersky their Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, and I was more excited than you could imagine. I have been familiar with them for quiet sometime. My uncle was one of the first people that I knew that used them, and I got a 6 months free when I bought this laptop at best buy. This was just their basic anti-virus but I had no problems with it, and had decided to update with them when it came time.
When David’s hours got cut, I was like “I can’t go without anti-virus, so how are wegoing to swing this?” Lo, and behold if I didn’t get the opportunity to review the full fledged Kaspersky Internet Security 2011! It couldn’t have came at a better time.
I have never had full out Internet security, but boy is it a nice thing to have. I have already had a few trojans to get caught! There is even a widget that is on my desktop to help with monitoring things! It even includes a firewall!

I have thoroughly enjoyed having this program installed in my computer It is useful, and it is definitely recommended. I know that it will save me many headaches and heartaches by using it! And everyone knows my Hp Dv4 is my BABY and I wouldn’t want to have to go through another computer virus situation !
My mom likes to call running your computer w/out anti virus “running around with out any panties on” As in, watch out you can catch alot of nasty things, just as if you were literally running around without your undies on! You can get nasty things! Lol and seriously that is a perfect analogy.
Anti Virus/ Internet Security is also a GREAT gift idea for the holiday season. If the person you are buying for has a computer of any sorts. I mean they might currently have protection, but they are going to have upgrade it eventually when it expires. Or even better if they don’t have it at all, they def. need it!
Case in point, Anti-Virus & Internet security are much more cheaper to buy,than having to replace a whole computer! And would seriously make a very awesome christmas present for any one with a computer!
