I am a collector of many things! I collect everything from children’s books, rocks, stickers, purses and the list goes on and on. Of course the biggest thing that I collect are purses. I have tubs and tubs and tubs and boxes of purses!
Our Apartment is 2 bedroom townhouse and really awesome as I say all the time! However when you are like me and have more crap than you can shake a stick at you have to have storage tubs! I have a gazillion they are in my closet, David’s closet, and the extra bedrooms closet. I could never have enough! I think it has to do with the fact i’m an only child. I like having my goodies! I know I have heard davids family say in passing that We/I have “too much stuff” I always mean to tell them that just because we don’t live like squatters and we are lucky enough for the things others have bought us..that’s not my fault!
Recently I got the chance to review some storage tubs and I was on top of the world! I know you might be like seriously , why would you be excited to review a storage tub? Well first of all it’s something that I can really use, and secondly these tubs are a little bit different than your normal storage tubs. The tubs I got to review are Packaways and they are awesomesauce baby’s!
The packaways are made in America which is always awesome! I am always happy to review something that is from my native land so to speak 🙂 Another awesome thing about packaways? THEY FOLD UP so if you don’t need them for permanent storage you can fold them flat and only use them when you need them!
When I first got my packaways , my first impression was holy heck that is a big package! I guess I never really thought of what a packing tub would look like when totally folded flat lol. I was like oh my word , what am I going to do these things must be huger than average! However, after I put them together I realized that they were the same size pretty much as your average tub!
The tubs arrived folded flat, and I was a little bit concerned that it might be difficult for little miss un coordinated me to get them together on my own. Let me just say It’s so simple a nichole can do it! Honestly, it is pretty self explanatory and they pretty much set up themselves. There were step by step instructions to follow, but honestly it was pretty self explanatory ! All you have to basically do is push the opposite corners together and then put the tabs into place. Then to fold them flat all you have to do is push the bottom and they pretty well self collapse. Another neat feature is that you can write what the contents are on a wipeaway side panel!
The packaways are available in 3 sizes currently, and are available in 3 different styles. They are also available in pink,green,white and blue! They are also quite affordable starting at $8.75.
