Recently I decided that the one thing I absolutely wouldn’t review anymore was books! I seem to have a difficult time formulating what I want to say about them.
However, when I got the chance to review the Blog Bank E-bookby Stepfanie Cuevas,I was more than happy to get on board!
I had seen this book around my blog-o-sphere- realm for a while, and I was really interested in it, but hadn’t had the chance to check it out yet.
Most of you know that I get lots of freebies, paid posts (ok, not lots of paid posts, but some!) and awesome things to review quite regularly. I have really wanted to concentrate more on ways to make my blog help me some money! I know that there are people out there that pretty much use their blog as a part time- full time job.
With the way things are going for David & me right now, the more money I can make from simply using my site, well the better I feel about myself being able to contribute to our income.
The Blog Bank E-Book is around 40 pages, and it is such an easy read! It comes in PDF format so you can pretty much read it on any type of book reader or even your computer(which is what I did, because I was too lazy to A. email it to my kindle or B. find my nook cord lol)
Everything is broken down so very plain and simple, and there are ideas that I wouldn’t have thought of, and best of all it isn’t all about the BIG blogs. These are simple things that you can do no matter what kind of visitor statistics/PR/Etc you might have.
One of the most helpful things I found was to have an about me page on your site, and a way to contact you. Also, It has inspired me to update my about me page (eventually, you all know how slow I am) to include more about my english /writing background and make it more professional as well as personal.
Each section breaks down about how long it would take you to work on this goal, the level of difficulty and even on a low end how much money that you can make in the long run.
The best thing about this book is it is honest, and it uses realistic sittuations. You don’t feel like someone is PROMISING YOU that by doing certain things you will become rich quick. It shows you that you can use your blog to make money, but it takes work and dedication!
I plan to take some of these ideas into the new year, and I look to try to find new people to interact with. Autumn-Rain has really fell to my back burner this year with being so out of it with insomnia and depression and such. I really feel inspired to get things back on track.
I suggest if you have a blog & you are seriously considering making money with it, that you check it out! Plus, check out Stepfanie in general she is so sweet and I have had a blast talking to her on twitter lately!
I was provided a copy of the blog bank e-book from Stepfanie Cuevas for review purposes. All opinons & statements are honest and my own.
