I was compensated with at $75 credit to use at winecrasher.com for doing a write up with my honest thoughts, opinions, etc about their website and related experiences.Your Mileage May Vary!
This is a review of a website that sells wine- please remember to be of legal drinking age in your country before you purchase/enjoy alcoholic beverages and drink responsibly
A great wine website where you can save lots of money? With a great under $20 section?Meet my friends over at Wine Crasher! Of course, we all know that i am a huge fan of wine and I generally buy the same ole same ole at the grocery store and generally I pay at most $12 for what I drink most of the time! Anything other than that -I would have had to have tried in another context- such as a review!
At Wine Crasher they make it a bit easier for someone like myself to branch out and try something a little different- like I say they have several sections on their site including a under $20 section which is where I stuck when spending my credit to their site that they so generously provided me! I was able to get 5 awesome bottles of wine so I think that is a pretty good deal! They also lays out their wine in categories such as Red, White and Sparkling so you have plenty of ways to find what you might want to try.
The fun thing about Wine Crasher is you can get every kind of information available about the wine you are looking at – except the name! This is kind of the same thing as what travel sites like hotwire.com and priceline.com do! It is kind of like in exchange for your discount you get everything BUT the name. You can get the rating- which is rated according to Robert Parker’s wine advocate, Wine Spectator, Burghound and Antonio Galloni. Then you can also get the varietals, region, vintage, market value, the savings, and the last time the market was checked for the price of that wine.
They are all about getting you the best price on that wine that you will find, and they also have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee- but to prevent folks from ordering , seeing the label and changing your mind- they have a $5 restock fee…but that is only fair in my opinion based on their model!
I think that Wine Crasher has an awesome concept, and an awesome selection of wines! I think it is fun to pick the wines out based on factors instead of by the name on the label- kind of one of those don’t judge a book by its cover sorts of concepts! I enjoyed seeing what I picked after the fact, and I am glad that I will get to try some awesome wines based on my picking them based on their qualifications! I look forward to browsing through, especially in the value section in the future to get to try more awesome wine!
