Lately I have been doing some reflection on of all things- back to when I was planning my and David's wedding back in 2007!  In case you didn't know- David and I had a very whirlwind relationship- We met In January, got engaged in February and Married in June- All in the same year! I also had a wedding dress that I had gotten an amazing deal on at a thrift shop several months before we even met. It was just too good of a deal, and fit perfectly so I had to have it ($17 for those who are curious!)  David and I were working at the Salvation Army family store at the time, and we only had a few months to plan it- well it was a little bit overwhelming at times! Hey Everyone Well... I have been busy doing everything BUT blogging lately- like we already didn't know/ you couldn't tell lol. I keep hoping my blogging mojo will come back to me but so far..no such luck. I have thought about updating stuff or mixing up some stuff or something like that but I haven't really came up with a plan just yet ... I mean I have been saying I want to do AW summaries and book stuff and coupon and thrift shop stuff for a while.. and I do put up coupon stuff  SOMETIMES...but yeah.. lol .. At least there are possibilities right ? ha ha I did fairly well at CVS yesterday- mostly a laundry deal and some tampons and some listerine- I paid $8 out of pocket and got back several extrabucks and even some on Ibotta for the listerine. ... the transaction actually came out pretty good and almost as expected but my extrabucks on the P&G deal didn't print so they had to be force printed so that kinda was a snafu I guess.. don't know why that happens … [Read more...]

Hey Everyone Well.. I have been getting things done around the house FOR SURE. I mean ... i'm pretty much a machine lol. I still have work to do in my closet (as always lol) but it is really just one side and maybe the shelves... I also would love to hit up the patio closet but with the weather/pollen and painting and such going on.. that might be a while. Plus, it isn't stuff I see everyday and so it is kind of low on my totem pole you know? I am taking a break from couponing/cvs this week for the first time this year !!!  There were no coupons in the paper yesterday, this weeks sale sucks , and my CRT's sucked so it just all added up to take a break... I have to admit I am pretty happy about it too lol. I don't really have a lot that I want to write, Just wanted to update while I had the chance. This week is supposed to be a short week - as far as David working wise, he has good friday off .. but OMG it feels like the longest week ever. I think some of it has to do with Monday night- I took FOREVER to go to sleep because David was snoring (LOL) and then I woke up at 2:30 and never could go back to sleep! It has been A SUPER LONG time since I had that happen.- Generally my sleep is pretty regulated/ normal as of the last couple years = it is just when David leaves in the morning that kinda messes me up- That is why I do the whole get up super early thing in the spring/summer ... Anyways I never got back to sleep and I knew that I was going to go to CVS to coupon and CM with my mom so I didn't want to take a benadryl or drink tea or anything- Plus you kind of think at some point you'll just go to sleep right? Hey Everyone Lately I have just been over the moon about spoiling my fur babes! I mean, I usually am anyways.... but... I got a Furbo Camera from my uncle from his pallet stuff.. basically I didn't have to actually pay for it- I just traded him some coupon goodies and random things that I cleaned out that I wasn't using (which is what I do to get a lot of awesome goodies from him- pretty awesome right?) Anyways, I love being able to check in on Marley and Sam when i'm out and about- even though Marley is scared of it for some reason- In case you didn't know it is a camera where you can hear them./they can hear me and I can even throw treats for them- even though I haven't yet because they would fight over them. My main reason I wanted the camera though is to help with my travel anxiety and be able to check in on Sam/ the house when we go to my grandma's and such.. Hey Everyone Well...There isn't a lot going on in my world- O.K There are things going on , but  nothing that I really feel like writing about. ... This week is a little more mellow than the last few weeks/months because my mom had to go out of town for a few days to deal with a few things in the family. So basically, I got out and about Monday with her and we did CVS couponing on Monday before she left so.. yeah... The rest of the week I will be just hanging out at home which hasn't happened in a looong time!  I will probably read a ton (so behind on my challenge and my TBR is off the chart!) I do have the car if I did want to get spry and go anywhere but David has my debit card lol... which I could just transfer money to my other card if needed ... but I just hate going out by myself.. though in some ways it makes me think of when I was in college when I used to do that sort of thing all the time and I do kind of miss that.
