I have never been a girl who was big on wearing makeup, though I have always had some sort of collection! My great grandfather actually used to have this saying about “a little bit of powder and a little bit of paint , make many a girl what she ain’t”. I could probably name all the times that I actually wore make up on one hand. I mean I am not talking about concealer or lip gloss- I actually wear that quite often- I am talking about eye shadow and blush and mascara. I guess I just for the most part have always preferred a natural approach for my look! Even though I did at one point buy like 3 huge make up kits and was determined to learn how to put it on and all of that- I guess even though I am “old” I like to play dress up still.
Speaking on that getting “old” note- I pretty much feel like for the most part that I still look pretty young. I have always looked considerably younger than what I am I remember being about 18 and having a girl bring me a kids menu and crayons when I went out to eat! Now,I have filled out a bit I guess would be the nice way of saying I have packed on weight that I would like to get rid of about 20lbs on (which I hope to start working on sometime in the near future) I still get carded at the store when I buy wine and such but I have one little snag that is kinda making me feel like I am looking older…
Under my eyes are just ..really puffy/swollen in that last year or so! I didn’t really realize it at first – I was taking some selfies with Marley one day and made a collage and put it on Facebook and my mom is like why did you put those up? What is wrong with your eyes? and I was like what are you talking about? She said it looked like I had bruises under eyes- but I really couldn’t see it and neither could David and we just knocked it off as a whatever moment. I figured it was just the lighting or whatever. I don’t take a whole lot of selfies so no biggie!
Then.. I actually started to notice in the mirror – it was a while later but I was like holy wow this sucks- and I really didn’t know what to do for it- at all! That is about the time when I got contacted about doing a review/product feature for Mesolyft. I was seriously thinking about trying cucumbers or something at this point so it came in at a good time!
Mesolyft is a line of 4 products -Eyes, Lips, Skin and Neck-that use what is called mesotherapy- which uses needles and vitamins to help heal your skin from within. I kind of was concerned about the needles part- but this is microneedles and the device was designed by top scientists at MIT and HARVARD and it is all in one pain free device! It is a awesome concept because it makes little micro channels in your skin so it allows a deeper infusion of the product…and it doesn’t damage your skin.
It turns out you can have the issues under your eyes for LOTS of reasons- including allergies, stress, lifestyle and your diet and more! I figure mine have a lot to do with allergies, sleep and maybe even that love of drinking wine I have! Mesolyft is made to help stimulate that area and nourishes it AND helps push the toxins along through the waste system. When you are just putting on creams and what not alone you more than likely aren’t stimulating your blood flow adequately enough so this helps you out with that.
All of the Mesolyft products are made with natural ingredients and are very easy to use- and are recommended that you use before bedtime just in case you experience redness. You can find out about each on of the products they offer on their site as well as a ton more information!
I have had myesolyft products since the beginning of this year, but I unfortunately haven’t got to fully try them all out – when I do get to try the EYES one I will be sure to update this post with some before and after pictures- I am on a “Make Nichole Great” again kick right now and this fits in with it. I had hoped to be able to add the pictures to this post but with being sick in January, having the girl time from heck for almost 2 months and all that I haven’t had much pep or inspiration for worrying about it like I was there for a while but with the spring weather and such I AM BACK and so.. I wanted to get this feature up and share my excitement because I didn’t want them to have to wait anymore! So …look for an update in the future hopefully!
