So it’s June. Summer is kicking in! I myself am not a “Summer Person” which I have mentioned before. I live in the South, and it’s like 100 in the shade most days. However, being a southern girl I do drink a lot of tea, especially this time of the year. My favorite tea is Luzianne Tea of course! Recently they sent me a couple of boxes to review ,including a box of their regular tea and one box of green tea! Also, June is National Iced Tea month! I never knew that! I have to say that I didn’t even know that they made green tea that you could make up at home. I guess I just never thought about it before!
I can remember being about 5 years old, and not living in N.C. for very long(I am from Virginia originally) Up there back in the day tea was really not a popular thing (and I’m not sure if it has really caught on or not, let me just say I’m from way way back in the hills lol) Anyways, I can remember when my mom’s sister came down when one of my cousins was born. We were at the hospital parking lot and she took a drink of my mom’s tea and spit it everywhere! I think it’s because mostly we were used to instant tea as well!
Luzianne tea has all the qualities in tea that you should want in your tea! One thing that I like about Luzianne tea is that it is “clearer and looks better” which is probably because years ago, one of their slogans was “Clear as a bell” I just know that their tea doesn’t look all dark and have all those granules at the bottom of your pot after boiling. I am telling you hands down we go through several pitchers of tea in a weeks time around here in the summer months. Luzianne tea is just so crisp and refreshing!
I was really happy with the green tea as well, seeing as how I’d never tried to make my own at home. I have tried to drink a lot of green tea /take green tea supliments ever since I had all of my HPV and Cervical Cancer problems! I really am enjoying to be able to make my own! It is VERY NOM!!!
I have learned a lot of interesting facts about tea since I received this tea to review. A few of the things I learned are
All types of tea begin with the leaf from the plant Camellia sinensis. It is the manner in which the tea leaf is processed that determines what type of tea it becomes
Tea doesn’t have fat, sodium, carbonation, or sugar (unless you add it of course) It is virtually calorie free. It will help maintain a proper fluid balance, and it is believed to help contribute for overall good health.
Luzianne is sponsoring Iced Tea Month with the R U Sweet or Unsweet twitter and facebook campaign. To enter you should follow them on facebook and/or on twitter, you can enter weekly for a chance to win free products and branded items! You can take the R U Sweet or Unsweet poll on facebook as well!

So kick back and enjoy Iced Tea Month with Luzianne, and Me! I know i’ll be continuing my celebration of tea all summer long 🙂
I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion!
