If you don’t know this about me by now, it is that I have a MAD obsession with Purses, Totes, and anything related in that category! I have been like this since I was like 2 years old and I even played some game with my uncles ex-grilfriends that I had appropriately named “Pocketbooks”, though I don’t remember the details of how you play it, just a vague memory from when I was younger. Therefore, when I got the chance to do a review for My Thirty One from the lovely Miss Katie, I was pretty excited! I also have to thank one of my loyal minions, Karyn for helping me get the review to start with!
About My Thirty One:
If you have been sleeping some where and don’t know My Thirty One is an company that sales all sorts of organizational things, including totes and more! There are lots of patterns you can choose from and you can even get your items customized with initials and whatnot as well! They are a very supportive company for women as well, which I think is an awesome thing! They believe in Celebrating ,Rewarding and Encouraging their distributors! I I am planning to join up and sell thirty one myself in the near future as well!
What To Pick (I couldn’t decide!)
When Katie and I were discussing the review I seriously COULD NOT decide what to ask for to review, so I asked her to surprise me! Then I stalked my mail carrier like mad once I realized it was on the way, just like I always do when I know I have a package coming! I actually was out with David walking Marley when it came, and I saw it sitting on the ground up at the mailboxes when the girl was putting up the mail. I was like THAT IS MY PACKAGE can I take it? She must have believed me because she didn’t ask for proof lol (which is good because my ID has our old address still!). Here they don’t bring packages from the USPS to the apartments, they leave them in the office if they don’t fit in the box.
Inside The Box!
She sent me an pink organizing utility tote (which now they have updated and the newest ones have zippers!) and an Every Day wristlet in the Teal Mod Dot pattern! I was in LOVE as soon as I pulled them out of the box! She also sent me a card and a Thirty one Nail file in Citrus Medallion (Which I ended up letting my mom have because the woman has a mad love for nail files lol). She did really awesome picking the colors for me (I mean I guess it isn’t hard to tell I love pink/greens/blues!) and I thought including a card was a nice way to connect as well! You know, as a side note one thing I like about working with an INDIVIDUAL on a review is you can usually connect with them on a level that you don’t normally get to do with a PR company rep! I have also friended her on facebook and have really enjoyed getting to know her there as well!
Pink Organizing Utility Tote:(They now have them with a zipper and in different prints)
This thing is amazing! I have to say it is the perfect size too! I like the way that it is sturdy but flexible at the same time, if that makes any sense? It easily folds down so you can store it in the closet or wherever you store it at (I have had it in David’s closet and it hasn’t been in his way yet.. and he’s PICKY lol) The straps are thick and sturdy as well and they are attached with grommets which is a good thing as well. This is a good spot to also mention that their products have a LIFETIME Guarantee as well!
Back to the tote! It has 3 pockets on the front, 2 pockets on the back and 2 mesh pockets on the sides so you can pretty well stick your essentials like a bottle of water, your phone or whatever there for quick and easy access. I know that the next time David and I make it out of town I am going to use it to tote along my clothes and other junk I drag along with me! I have also used it to tote some of marleys stuff in like a bowl, her scooper and bags/toys and stuff in when we have went to David’s dads along with some of my things in there as well! The options for using it are limitless in my opinion! I am already planning on taking it down to the pool the next time I go down there as well!
The Everyday Wristlet in Teal Mod Dot
is an Item that I have to admit that when I was trying to pick items in the beginning, before I just let her pick for me , is one that I was secretly wanting to ask for! I really don’t have a nice wallet/ a lot to choose from and even though I am totally obsessed with purses sometimes you just want to carry what you need and not have to bother with a purse! I have since used it in conjunction with the utility tote and even on it’s own! It has 2 zippered compartments, plenty of room for your cards, change, lip gloss,keys, money,etc as well as a place on the back of it for your ID so you don’t have to fish it out when you need it! To better show you I decided that it would be fun to make a tiny video clip to show you and explain a bit more!
Wrapping Up:
In all, I am VERY happy with my items from my thirty one and I can’t wait to one day get to be a rep for them myself and get to experience more of their awesome products! One thing else before I go , I really like that the My Thirty One products are pretty affordable and that they even have oodles of goodies at the $20 and under price point as well, that way you don’t have to be rich but can still experience the products!
