Hi Everyone this is a notice to let everyone know that I am well aware that the header image is not working properly!!  I am working in conjunction with 2 separate people to either get it fixed or get a new theme - same header graphic though. I am kind of sick of all the white and I really want the image to be stretched and at least center like it has been! It should be an easy fix but so far not so much! I know I have had this problem before but haven't been able to resolve it in a short time frame this go around. I think it went crazy sometime wed. night! A huge problem I have had is the platform my theme runs on (framework) called genesis which I have been using for several years but it has cause A LOT of issues!  I hope to have this resolved soon but I am not in a huge hurry! Hey Everyone Well.. I don't know if anyone is getting the privacy policy page before this page or not- I kind of am not sure if that plugin works anything else related to GDPR so I'm kind of worried about deleting it right at the moment. I am aware that for some reason the header of my blog is going to the left. I have NO IDEA why.. and I am trying to figure it out. This isn't the first time that it has happened so.. I have contacted the girl that made the theme to see if she can fix it again- I am sure it is something random crazy and doesn't take long I just don't know why it won't stick. I also have a friend that is trying to figure it out in case I don't hear back from the other girl so hopefully we'll get it all figured out. This week and the blog right? I have been nearly hacked and had to change passwords, locked myself out and then this GDPR mess and now this. Hey Everyone Well, I am not sure if you got a seemingly weird page before you accessed the site today or late yesterday but I'm trying to work on the whole GDPR thing and frankly.... I want to pull all my hair out or burn the internet /yank my site down /all the above. I didn't think this had ANYTHING to do with the US - I thought it was all for shops and mailing lists and .. Well I guess I was wrong huh? Seriously between the FTC and GOOGLE it is enough to keep up with- didn't need something else crazy to deal with. Especially when like 90% of bloggers I know don't have a clue about it just Like me! Most people think its just for shops and newsletters with european users so ???? I think for the most part everyones trying to cover the butts! Personally, I don't do the whole google analytics thing- I don't do a newsletter and I really don't do giveaways. Addiction has been on my mind a lot lately- from random conversations when I was traveling to people in the family and even people online so I thought I would just get a whole bunch of my thoughts about it out. I could very well ramble on at more length on this , but I just thought it might be nice to mix things up a bit here from my typical rambles - I do do that every now and again :) I think that addiction is something that even in this day and time is not easily defined when it comes to some things, if not all things. I mean how do you know when you start crossing lines? Hey Everyone Well.. It sure got HOT in a hurry after our long winter season we had here in the south. I mean right now it is 11 a/m and in the shade it is 84 degrees UGH!!  It is getting harder and harder for me to get out and about except really early or really late in the evening. Dinner is already a nightmare because I don't want to stand over a hot stove ( especially if I go tanning too) and yeah.. nothing is going to improve on this front for a while I already know lol. I am going to SERIOUSLY go through some cook books and some pinterest pins and find some really light fare to eat. I mean yesterday evening I was going to skip tanning (because it was hot, and i want to shave and such) and make fajitas but at the same time I was like UM.. yeah. David didn't feel good because of the heat and working outside so I never really made anything. Last week I knew that My Dad would be off work and that him and my mom would be busy doing this that and the other and the likelihood of getting out and about with my mom to go tanning or couponing would be very low.  I also knew I had a 40% off of one item at CVS that would expire on Monday so - I talked David into going up to CVS on Sunday evening - we weren't doing anything but watching tv and he said as long as I got some candy and a soda for him he'd go LOL I actually called my mom and worked out the details of the deal with her before I went that way I could figure out which of my options were the best (well for the first transaction , since i knew I had $15 in rewards + the 40% off  a $4 off 20 PF and we know the general prices on PF) I also knew I'd get $7 back in rewards and $3 on the beauty rewards which credit about 24 hours or so later .. the 2nd transaction I pretty much winged- you'll see how it turned out- and i'm not that good at thinking on my feet lol. i'm … [Read more...]
