I guess being a girl with naturally curly hair, it seems my hair has just always been a big thing in my life. When I was a little girl I had hair so long, that for the longest time, that when it was wet I could actually sit on it!  Of course, I have pretty well always fought with it as well- and I try to keep it straight as much as I can! I have a few other hair product reviews coming up so I won’t get too much into that right now 🙂
My biggest thing is has always been on keeping my hair straight- you can’t really get it wet, obviously, because it will curl right back up (humidity is fun/rain/taking a shower all that good stuff!) I also tend to go at least several days at a time with it straightened that way I don’t over abuse it (I did that at one point and almost burnt a big chunk of hair out actually- eek!)So in other words- I sometimes just don’t feel like my hair is that fresh! Â Especially now that for some reason my hair likes to feel a little bit greesy/oily- which it never used to do! It is only when it is straightened that I notice it!
This is where my favorite “new to me thing” comes in ..I don’t know how long there has been dry shampoo,but it is pretty new on my radar. I first got to try it earlier in the summer when my mom had some coupons and it was included in a deal she was doing.  Needless to say, I fell in love!
When I found out about a different brand called Batiste , I knew I just had to be able to try it because they had so many different scents! The one I was using previously had a nice fresh smell, but it was kind of boring when it was all I had!  There are 10 different scents in their line, and they even have some that have a hint of color to them that I hope to be able to try in the future- though you never know what hair color I might be at any given moment 🙂 Though I can’t really go dark anymore because of my roots!
Batiste Dry Shampoo not only comes in full size cans, but they also come in mini cans that you can carry with you in your purse, which you all know how I am about neat stuff to carry in my purse- and these definitely compliment all the other random hair stuff like hairbows, clips, and brushes you would find in my purse at any given moment! I like to just be able to keep my unruly hair in check wherever I might be, and this is another tool in my toolbox so to speak!
So in case you don’t know very much about dry shampoo, let me give you some quick awesome information about it! First off, it is SO easy to use! Â you just spray it in at the roots and the massage it in/brush/style. Â It instantly removes all that excess oil /grease you might have built up.. It even gives your hair a little bit of an oomph and all of this without having to use water! Â Oh and you have all these amazing scents to help perk things up as well!
Batiste dry shampoo has a different formula than other dry shampoos out there- theirs has rice starch in it, which makes it be a truly dry experience when you use it! It also helps with being light on your hair and not weighing it down at the same time- and doesn’t leave a heavy residue!
Since I keep mentioning all these awesome scents that Batiste comes in I’ll give you a run down of them- the ones with stars are the ones that I was sent, and I love every single one of them! I couldn’t begin to pick a favorite and I am in all honesty a little bit weird when it does come to scents so that is saying a lot! I also have to say being able to have different smells when you are in different moods is pretty neat as well. I know I am looking forward to taking the tropical one on my beach trip next month!

I am enjoying my variety of Batiste dry shampoo, and I am looking forward to using it more in the future.
