Ya’ll probably gather I am a fan of wine if you have poked around any on the blog, read any of my social media profiles or even over there on the side bar under my picture it says so :)I have wrote several wine reviews here on the site over the years (and other alcohol ones- but mostly wine ones) and even reviewed a couple of accessories over time. Goodness knows I love my wine fridge I got last year more than words can express!
Another thing that I LOVE that kind of always has been one of my little “things” is purse. I think I have mentioned this before- I used to play a game with one of my uncles girlfriends called”pocketbooks” and I don’t know what exactly it involved but I remember it by name! I also have always been known to rarely ever leave the house without a purse! I have tubs and tubs and even a few boxes and big tote bags full of purses- I used to change at least once a week when I used to go to school, but now I am lucky if I change them once a month because they aren’t as easy to get to in my closet and such- but I am making a come back on that kind of thing!
I tell you these two things in one post because believe it or not they are related more than in the sense of things that just scream “nichole” – Did you know that there is such a thing as a wine purse? I was pretty excited to find that out, and while there are a few different ones out there, but when I saw VivaJennz wine purses, I knew that these were the ones for me!
There are several awesome styles available, and I was lucky enough to get the classic TeamJennz Wine Purse. Now attention to detail is something that is not lost on these bags! The scarf that came with mine is printed with Vivajennz life with attitude, there is a cute charm that looks just like the logo I used above and inside it is printed with that logo throughout as well! I love all the details, and by just looking at it you would think that it is just a purse!I mean it isn’t as though they printed WINE PURSE all over it to rat you out you know ? 😉 The Team Jennz purse that I received has the wine bladder part separate from the actual purse part too!
Here are some pics so you can see what it looks like in general, and as well as all the little details!
(ignore the fact that the bow came untied and neither david or myself can tie a bow to save our lives- I thought i’d seem my mom to get her to tie the bow back before I wrote this review but I forgot to get her to do it!)
See, like I say just by looking at it no one would know the difference! However, this purse has a secret of course! There is a secret spout and a secret compartment! The wine purse has a bladder inside of the compartment that will hold up to 3 liters of wine -I also think you could probably fit a little bit bigger one in there if you got one out of a bigger box of wine as well… but with the included one it would hold the 3 liters.
Isn’t it the niftiest thing ever? and you don’t HAVE to smuggle wine in the wine purse either- you can use juice or tea or water or whatever you want! I love how you can use it like a regular purse too- that way you don’t have to carry something extra which would just be crazy!
There are very specific instructions about how to use the refillable bag-and the spigot part of your wine purse that are included on the tag of the purse – you have to be careful to not get the spigot stuck in the bag!I know that my picture you can’t really see the exact instructions, but you might want to keep in mind to read them before you use your purse
There are several extra accessories that you can buy to compliment your purse including different scarves, extra wine bags , ice packs and even wine glasses. Jennifer was awesome enough to send me a set of the VivaJennz 2 silicone collapsible wine glasses which I am a huge fan of because I hate actual GLASS when it comes to wine glasses especially. I do not know why but every time I have a nice wine glass it gets broke. I like that these can also fit right now in the purse if you wanted to take them with you too!
Another awesome thing about vivajennz is they donate a portion of their sales to Autism awareness! I love when I am shopping to know that part of money I spend on things that I am already buying will go back to help others!
I am already looking forward to using my Vivajennz wine purse at the beach here in a few weeks, and at the pool here at the apartment place as well! Of course me and the wine glasses have already gotten acquainted and they are my new favorite!
